This is truly appalling and discriminatory for disabled people who are more than willing to work under safe and accessible conditions.
Let's talk about duty.
Disabled people do not have a duty to work unsuitable jobs. Let's get that clear.
The government *does* have a duty to not dehumanise the million disabled people who want to work but are denied the chance.

Please sign this petition to increase accountability in the NHS. I'm not bashing NHS managers, as they are under so much pressure from funding cuts etc, but we can't go on like this where lack of response to patient safety concerns makes highly experienced staff leave their jobs.

Late repost, but reflecting back 5 years ago when I started this journey with @PaceRehab (now @DorsetOrtho) and my first myo-client was Ben. He's come so far and now uses an amazingly advanced myo-electric limb w @OssurCorp @CoaptControl & @Steeper parts. Grateful to be involved!

The purgatory of PIP in the UK
I've got my PIP assessment in the morning. It's been hanging over me like a millstone since I had to return the form, in November.
Decades worth of medical evidence, and I still have to pull my soul out explaining why I'm worthy......
Then, a mere 6-8wks wait to see if some administrator decides if they're going to fuq with me again. And for what..... dystopia lite.....
Can you see how they grind the sick and disabled down into early graves?
I just want to eat and sleep properly again.....

Together with his wife, Bryn was responsible for changing the landscape of support for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans in the UK.
