Tomorrow I’m looking at how to save money yet again. Have restructured twice already. Won’t be able to avoid a third round either. The money taken from our budgets every year by the LA to pay their debts is crippling us on top of insufficient funding. The job isn’t fun atm

I’ll be offering my ONE whole day of FREE CPD again this year.
However, you now don’t need to be rural or coastal school. (It is preferable!) But you’ll still need to have above national average FSM and SEND needs.

Not returning to school this September has been strange, yet fulfilling 🌱
It’s given me space to network and connect with amazing people working on inspiring social impact projects 🌍
Eye-opening to see the difference you can make outside the classroom ✨

So imagine you attended a march where this was being said? Imagine now for a moment you replaced with the words Muslim with Jews and Islam with Judaism. Rightly, it wouldn’t be tolerated and be stopped. But when it’s Islam, it’s ok?
"Send all of these r*pist Muslims and dirty rugs back to their shariah nations."
American-Colombian far-right, anti-Muslim congressional candidate Valentina Gomez delivered an incendiary, hate-filled speech at the “Unite the Kingdom” march in London, organised by Tommy Robinson.
Gomez is known for burning the Quran and spreading Islamophobic rhetoric.
Not there…yet 🌱. I’m learning, growing, and building every day.

5/5 this week ✅ 💪🏾 … Running away all the negativity of this weekend, and also reflecting what a story state of affair this world is that we’re dealing with at the moment 🤯

"You can't physically chuck a 13-year-old over a school gate and say: ‘Go on, get in.’"
Actor Anna Maxwell Martin, who's navigated the SEND system as a parent, tells #R4Today that attitude is just as important as funding to help support children with special educational needs.
Morning run ✅
Reflection - Summer is over ☔️

2nd Reflection - The amount of children I saw late for school and the mental gymnastics I was doing to resist to find out why 🤣

Report cards with clearer strengths & improvements
Dedicated Inclusion judgement for SEND & disadvantaged learners
Greater focus on staff well-being and workload
