FAREWELL MESSAGE Greetings! It is with a deep sense of gratitude and humility that I formally bid farewell as I step down from my position as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership. Your Excellency, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, I wish to express my profound gratitude for the honour and confidence reposed in me to serve under your distinguished leadership. The opportunity to contribute, even in a modest capacity, to national development and the advancement of citizenship and leadership ideals has been both a privilege and a deeply enriching experience. Serving in this capacity has been a profound honour and a rare privilege. I am sincerely grateful for the trust reposed in me, the support of colleagues, and the collaboration of stakeholders who have all played vital roles in the journey. After careful consideration and in response to the call to serve at a broader democratic level, I have decided to resign my position in order to contest for the office of Member, House of Representatives, representing Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State. This decision is driven by a continued commitment to public service and a desire to further contribute to the development of our people through legislative representation. As I take this next step, I carry with me the invaluable experiences, relationships, and lessons gained during my time in office. I remain deeply appreciative of the opportunity to serve and will always cherish the shared vision of building a more responsible, united, and progressive society. I thank you all for your unwavering support and cooperation throughout my tenure and humbly seek your continued goodwill as I embark on this new journey. May God bless you all, and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Thank You. Hon. Nasir Bala Aminu Ja’oji

Today, we celebrate the strength, love, and sacrifices of mothers whose unwavering dedication continues to shape our families, communities, and our great nation. Mothers are the first teachers, the silent pillars of our homes, and the guiding light that nurtures responsible citizens and future leaders. Their resilience, compassion, and commitment to raising generations of responsible Nigerians remain invaluable to our national development. On this special day, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all mothers across Nigeria for their tireless efforts, patience, and enduring love. Your contributions to nation-building through the values you instill in your children do not go unnoticed. May God continue to bless, strengthen, and reward you abundantly. Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful mothers. -Hon. Nasir Bala Aminu Ja’oji Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship & Leadership.

Official Statement The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship & Leadership has this morning been drawn to a disturbing viral video circulating on social media showing a student being violently assaulted by fellow students at Igbinedion Education Centre. We strongly condemn this act of bullying and violence. Such behavior is unacceptable and runs contrary to the values of respect, discipline, and responsible citizenship that we must instill in our young people. The Office calls on the management of the school and relevant authorities, including the @PoliceNG and the @NigEducation , to thoroughly investigate the incident and ensure that appropriate measures are taken while prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of the affected student. We also urge parents, educators, and community leaders to strengthen guidance and mentorship for young people, emphasizing empathy, responsibility, and the importance of standing against violence and bullying. The Office remains committed to promoting responsible citizenship and leadership values among Nigerian youths across the country. -Hon.Nasir Bala Aminu Ja’oji Senior Apecial Assistant to the President on Citizenship & Leadership

Their leadership, dedication, and sacrifices continue to inspire progress and shape a better future for generations to come. As we mark this important day, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting inclusion, equal opportunities, and empowering women and girls to reach their full potential. A society that uplifts its women is a society that prospers. I also commend the vision and commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, whose administration continues to champion initiatives that support women’s participation in leadership, economic empowerment, and national development. To every woman striving, leading, nurturing, and inspiring change—today we celebrate you. Happy International Women’s Day. — Hon.
