🏏❓ Is this the best caught and bowled you've ever seen? Surely the play is to stand there with hands on hips yelling at your fielders to 'get there!'

They certainly know he can lead by example on the pitch, now Callan McAbe will have the senior coaching role as well at the Students. Kialla Park looking a treat too, they’ll be keen to build momentum into a summer back at home. xitter.cf/oscc12/status/12578084…

The club is extremely excited to announce the signing of @Callan McAbe as senior coach for the next two seasons. Callan made a sounding impression on & off the field last season. Callan has settled in Australia & we look forward to up coming season! @SheppNewsSport @CricketShepp

Ian Sartori's knee injury in Rd 12 1983, that all but ended his football career. He slipped while kicking. Would play only one more game - 761 days later.

Tough times at Cricket Victoria, with a financial squeeze bringing on a wave of redundancies. The so-called ‘field force’ - region managers, development offices etc - heavily cut. Lots of talented and dedicated people let go.
