The National Park Service is already underfunded and understaffed. To put its budget on the chopping block as we continue to see a rise in visitors at parks across the county is reckless and thoughtless.

It was great to be able to join the @ORRoundtable for a fantastic evening celebrating the bipartisan passage of the EXPLORE Act. The outdoor recreation economy is a $1.2 trillion economic powerhouse that generates jobs and supports local communities.
Some of life‘s most treasured memories are forged in the great outdoors through explorations, exercise, and simply enjoyment. These experiences and adventures are essential to our well-being, both physically and mentally. It’s crucial that we introduce America’s youth to the outdoors at an early age and let them create moments that they’ll cherish for the rest of their lives.
We look forward to helping this vital industry grow for the benefit of all Americans! 🇺🇸
