I kid you not, @itchio has been taken down by @OriginalFunko because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called @BrandShieldltd that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, @iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain
This site has gotten so, so bad, y'all. Episode announcements (along with any other random thoughts and shitposts) can be found at varcolacpress.bsky.social from now on.
No episode this week. Medical (not emergency) difficulties, and the sudden arrival of the baby pictured below has me going between pet stores and vets. Megastructure Part I drops next week, followed by the 8th Anniversary Q&A-- then the Megastructure arc will continue.
Episode 308: Oblivion Part VIII
Mitch and Faolan navigate the halls of the Chester Mental Health center, increasingly convinced that something deeply unnatural has occurred on the site-- even beyond the evil they tracked here.
I'll be releasing Oblivion Part VIII tomorrow, but Part IX will have to wait an extra week. I sat down to record today, and soon had to stop due to a debilitating ocular headache and flareup of TMJ pain.
Recording is rescheduled for Sunday, so Part IX will release on the 16th.
Episode will be a day or two late this week-- time has snuck up on me and I have back to back recordings headed into release day.
No reason it shouldn't be out this week still though, and the goal is to have Oblivion Part IX out next Monday as normal.
Episode 307: Oblivion Part VII
The would-be rescue of Mitch and Faolan by Danny chambers is swiftly cast into doubt by the wrath of the Mnemophage.
And elsewhere in Chester, a terrible new facet of the ongoing eldritch crisis bears its first fruits.
Episode 305: Oblivion Part V
The library burns, and the man who set the fire did so as an act of defiance-- against the closest thing mankind has to a benevolent god.
Now in command of his full memories and strength, Mitch draws Excalibur to face down a fated enemy.
Episode 303: Oblivion Part III
Chester High School is under siege by uncountable spiders. A bad situation, even for Chester.
Episode 302: Oblivion Part II
Did this night follow that day? Or are we all forgetting something? Something is wrong here in Chester-- everyone feels it, even if nobody knows it.
Episode 299: Battle Lines Part III
The DAS Long-Range Cell, along with 401(I'm Not O)K, bring their abilities to bear against overwhelming odds as the Fecundity closes around Carthage like a snare.
Episode 297: Battle Lines Part I
In coming to the rescue of 401(I'm Not)OK, Ishmael finds himself responsible for more people than he'd prefer, given the apocalyptic situation.
And elsewhere, a harrowing journey begins.
