The density of Brown Trout in Tuddenham Mill Stream increase further upstream as this #chalkstream becomes more gravelly. This one was in a pool of several trout, but was the only one that doggedly hung tight in the face of my trusty @orcatorch D710 & @OlympusUK TG7. #trout 4/15

Yesterday @ORCATORCH came to the rescue: the River Linnet flood waters at @IckworthNT had rendered the @river_lark_c_p data logger inaccessible from land. Thanks to #OrcaTorch we retrieved it from the relatively "warm" (5.6°C, air 5.3) headwaters.
