- Prediction markets are illegal in Nevada
- The AG's office is representing the @NevadaGCB in the lawsuits banning companies such as @Kalshi

9th Circuit allows Nevada to ban Kalshi and other prediction markets.
It disagreed "with Kalshi's overly broad reading" that the CEA allows it to offer sports event contracts.

Important to remember that commercially sponsored surveys, research, etc., typically exist only to generate media coverage, meaning the results and their presentation skew toward the sensational.
Remember that study from last week showing Gen Z was taking their investment money and using it to bet sports? The study was TRASH. Like, the worst I've ever seen. Shame on big media outlets for running with it w/out looking under the hood. ingame.com/betterment-gen-z-…
Legend of gaming journalism and a great human.
I had no idea @RalstonReports was writing this. I’m grateful to Jon for bringing into the Indy, which allowed me to work with an amazing team of journalists.
I’ve got a few more stories left before I put a -30- on the career.
Thanks, old friend.
