TRAFFIC Police Dereliction despite repeated complaints - on this road, obstruction & parking on road seems to be a daily issue.
Giving reasons(exam center, etc) is not policing. Regulation and issual of challans and making sure roads are free from vehicle obstruction.

Could CMRL been proactive & expedited OMR elevated metro work & started service by crane dropping trains onto tracks without waiting for Alandur-Shollinganallur line to be commissioned, like they did in Thane recently? I guess it's a bit late now for that. #chennai #chennaimetro

🚇Chennai Metro Phase 2 faces delays due to labour shortage & LA delays. CMRL is likely to decide a revised timeline for the Phase 2.
In my opinion, CMRL should try to complete important sections which would connect the arms of line 3,4,5 to existing Suburban, MRTS and Phase 1 lines on priority unless there are dependencies like tunneling work.
Below infographic is my observation based learned guess work on how it go about in terms of the rest of the Chennai Phase 2 sections.🤔
119 km Chennai Metro Rail Phase II will be delayed further:
- It was supposed to be completed in 2027, but deadline now pushed to late-2028
-Land acquisition, labour shortage and elections affected the project
-First 14.64 stretch between Poonamallee and Vadapalani recently inaugurated

Why these roads are abondoned?
The pathetic state of the 📍Camp Road - Agaramthen road Completely filled with potholes and waterlogging, making it a nightmare for daily commuters and pedestrians. Requesting authorities to take immediate action and relay this road. @jvidyasagar @dayatiger197312 @Mappeducitizen

Worst every decision by GCC to Demolish the Pandian saalai - Neelankarai link road without any proper arrangements. Daily it took nearly 1hours to cross this single bridge by Morning& evening. No one here to control the traffic or regularise it. Common people's are Suffering lot.

#Chennai is exploring metro, monorail and road connectivity to the proposed Terminal 5 at Chennai Airport after shelving the Parandur airport plan. The terminal could handle 20 million passengers annually, while overall airport capacity may rise to 55 million, with 23 aerobridges and 124 parking bays planned.
