April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. @OKFirstLady and I want to recognize the Children’s Advocacy Centers across Oklahoma that support children who have been abused and neglected. Every child in Oklahoma deserves to be safe and protected.

Great to start my day with fellowship and prayer at the third annual Governor's Prayer Breakfast this morning.  Special thank you to our keynote speaker, Pastor James Lowe! I believe Oklahoma can lead and teach the nation how prayer changes hearts and unites us in Christ Jesus.

One of my goals this session is to drive Hope for all Oklahomans. Hope is not a wish or feeling - it's a proven science that can be measured and applied. I'm so proud of the work @OKFirstLady is doing to bring the Science of Hope to communities across our state.

This one might be my favorite, but my staff voted it the 3rd best picture of the year. This is back on Easter when @OKFirstLady and I hosted foster families at the Governor's Mansion for games, a story, and an Easter egg hunt! The smiles on the kid's faces were incredible.

My prayers are with the victims of the attacks today in Kabul and everyone who is still in harm's way. We must stand firm in the face of terror and use whatever means necessary to protect our troops, American citizens and our allies.

Proud to host the "Leading with Hope" summit for all of our agency heads today. When we are all aligned with the same core value of changing Oklahoma's future for the better, with the common goal to make our state Top Ten, we can, and we will, accomplish greatness.

On this day in 1865, the news that slavery had been abolished reached Galveston, Texas. Oklahoma has observed Juneteenth since 1994 to commemorate the progress we've made as a state and nation and as a reminder we should always work toward a more perfect union.

As the nation's eyes turn to Oklahoma 100 years after the #TulsaRaceMassacre, an open letter from @OKFirstLady and me:

Yesterday, @OKFirstLady & I were proud to announce an investment of $15 million in CARES Act funds towards the launch of 30 Community HOPE Centers. These sites will stand in the gap & connect our state’s most vulnerable children & families with the resources & support they need.

I ask Oklahomans to join @OKFirstLady and me in praying for the officers who were injured, their families and the Tulsa Police Department. This senseless attack is a reminder of the dangers our law enforcement officers face daily.
