Olagunsoye Oyinlola having a conversation with the people of Badagry in Yoruba language when he was military administrator of Lagos between 1993 to 1996.
At the meeting, the kings of Badagry were complaining about Badagry being left behind in terms of infrastructure development.

He’s met all kinds of people but still a hustler on the street.
This was when he met Lil Baby.
Away from music, he’s met even Lamine Yamal and other stars.

I have been following one guy for a long time on instagram, he’s from Colombia I guess. His name is Kevin.
He’s an upcoming artiste based in Spain, so he goes to night clubs in Madrid, Barcelona and where there are big shows.
When invited artistes are coming in or leaving backstage, he freestyles for them and some of them also jump on it. Most are big artistes in Latin America, so if you listen to Latin music like me, you’ll know how big many of these artistes are in that world.
This guy has met many artistes and grown his page, I mean big artistes even Lil Baby, he has also dropped songs but you know the struggles of upcoming artistes. He just needed one big push and none of these big artistes have invited him for a verse (to my knowledge).
Fast forward to few days ago, there’s an artiste called Bulin 47, Kevin did his normal thing, he freestyled for him as you can see in this video, and Bulin stopped and jumped on the flow.
Guess what? The video exploded when Bulin collaborated on it, you know that Instagram collaborator thingy.
What blew the most wasn’t even the freestyle, it was the shoulder dance Bulin dropped 😂, guess what? Bulin saw how it exploded, then some folks replaced Bulin with Neymar with AI, and then different people jumped on the trend using AI.
It’s all over instagram, you can even add your face and jump on the challenge.
Bulin then invited Kevin, the upcoming artiste guy, they now recorded that freestyle in a studio and then dropped a video, they now named it “Give me a shoulder”😂.
At least the boy can make money from it. This life, time and chance.

I had a great time on Masoyinbo, exploring the importance of Yoruba in our society and why we must preserve the language, celebrate our culture and pass our rich heritage on to future generations.
Yoruba is more than a language. It is part of our identity, history, values and what connects us as a community. While our diversity is one of our greatest strengths, preserving our indigenous languages is a responsibility we all share.
Building a greater Lagos means investing not only in infrastructure and public services but also in our people, culture and values. We must work together to keep our heritage alive for generations to come.
Masoyinbo is doing a wonderful job of preserving our heritage while keeping us informed and entertained, whether in Lagos or anywhere else in the world.
