“i wanted to look at some new books… dad rarely ever takes me book shopping”
holly chuckled softly. karen was always afraid of holly getting hurt… especially since the last event.
“could i get a new dress too?”
“mom doesn’t like it when i go somewhere without her knowing…”
holly said carefully. she hated that she now couldn’t even go to the park without anyone being around her.
“i can get anything?”
“i’m alright… where did you want to go to? we will have to ask mom though. you know how she gets”
holly said, looking down at her hands as she sighed softly.

as holly tried to let go of her shoulder, she winced in pain. she had broken her shoulder and wasn’t even aware of it.
“i don’t feel well, nancy ..”
as she held onto her shoulder, her knees were bleeding quite a bit as she sniffled very softly.
“im alright..”
