Mumbai Singularity by @NymCoy has plenty of good things going for it. Review below 🌑🌕🌕🌕🌕

I’ve just finished Mumbai Singularity by @NymCoy and I have some thoughts on it. Full review pending and will go up soon. Lots to like in there. Well constructed world and main character. Interesting twists in the plot. Prescient themes. Stay tuned.

The beginning of Act 3 in Mumbai Singularity just dived off the road head first. Let’s see where it’s going while it hacks through the undergrowth with a machete.

Into Mumbai Singularity’s final third. Pace has picked up into full on techno-thriller from the tight, noir style plot of the beginning. They fit together the way a novella and sequel would, though they’re tonally quite different.

I’m past halfway in Mumbai Singularity. There’s some good stuff here, though I’m waiting for Act 2 to give me the same vibe and punch that Act 1 did.

Mumbai Singularity has shifted into its second act with gut-wrenching aplomb. 🔥🔥🔥 Now the challenge facing our detectives has taken a different shape, while being the same problem they’ve been facing. After the Act 1 release, now the tension can start to build anew.

There’s a real charm to Mumbai Singularity that’s a welcome surprise considering the kind of book it is. It’s a nice pulse of warmth that goes along with the mechanics that set up the rules of the world. It’s also near-perfect in its pacing so far, and delightfully weird.

Nym wasn’t kidding. Mumbai Singularity got weird almost immediately.

Finally got around to Mumbai Singularity by @NymCoy Chapter one: 👨‍🍳💋 in setting up a mystery, stakes and a world that exists in an augmented reality veneer. It’s a brilliant start. Keep it up.
