The President’s point, and I fully agree, is that the worst choice is to fall behind and hope our adversaries will responsibly wield a technology with the potential to elevate nations and change civilizations. The best choice is to continue to ensure America has the superior AI, just as we must lead across every technology that will shape the future.

Everything is dangerous, you can buy flammable liquids willy nilly. The dangers are new, so we need to be careful instead of cowering because the new thing did something unexpected.
