Watching Nandil receive his law degree at NLSIU Bengaluru this morning brought back so many memories.
I still remember when he first told Riniki and me that he wanted to take a year off to prepare for CLAT. The father in me had a few questions and, admittedly, a few worries too. But he knew what he wanted, believed in himself, and gave it his all. He went on to secure an All India Rank of 40 in CLAT, reminding us both how important it is to trust our children’s choices.
We spend years guiding our children, only to discover just how much they teach us along the way.

Living in Norway for many years has changed how I look at elections back home in India. 🇳🇴 vs 🇮🇳
Six to eight months before elections, politics takes over our lives.
Rallies, campaigns, huge spending, office debates, road discussions and social media wars.
Even unemployed youth spend hours defending leaders, while political messaging shapes their opinions.
In Norway, I rarely see elections dominate everyday conversations at work or outside.
People vote, follow the results and move on with their lives.
Imagine what India could build if we spent less time discussing politicians and more time building our future.
Are we building India, or just debating who should rule it?

A 19-year-old suspected white supremacist, Alexandros Paporakis, has been arrested for allegedly plotting a mass shooting at a Hindu place of worship in Aurora, Illinois.
Investigators say the suspect had been planning the attack for two years and allegedly targeted Indians and South Asians.
Police recovered an AR-style rifle, ammunition and tactical gear.
A potentially devastating hate-driven attack may have been prevented.
Paporakis worked as a cashier at a Taco Bell in Arlington Heights for nearly seven months.
According to a co-worker who spoke to investigators, Paporakis regularly made racist remarks, particularly targeting Indians. He openly identified himself as a white supremacist and frequently spoke about Nazis and armed struggle.
