Baby Anhelina and her mom Inna were killed by Russia yesterday. Anhelina was just over a year old. Her mom, Inna Mariukhna, was a primary school teacher. They were in the park in Nova Vodolaha, Kharkiv region, when a Russian drone attacked. Little Anhelina was killed in her stroller. Her mom died of her injuries in hospital. Another girl killed in the strike was just 11 years old. Six people lost their lives from that Russian strike. All of them had simply been spending time in the park. At least 15 more were injured, including seven kids. Deepest condolences...

It cost me $105 to fill up my gas tank. I knew that sooner or later men in women's sports would raise my gas prices. I knew it!

BREAKING: Georgia farmer says he's voting DEMOCRATIC for the first time in his life – after Trump's policies hit his livelihood and a Democratic senator helped save his hurricane-ravaged farm! Gary Paulk has spent his life growing muscadine grapes in rural southern Georgia. His family has farmed the land for five generations, and until now, he's never cast a ballot for a Democrat. But life has a way of changing how you look at politics, especially when you're the one paying the bills. “The fuel today is twice as high as it would have been this time last year,” Paulk told Liz Landers of PBS Newshour during a visit to his vineyard. He's also struggling with tariffs that have driven up his costs and an immigration crackdown that has made it harder to find the workers he needs. When Landers repeated Trump's familiar claim that undocumented immigrants are taking jobs away from Americans, Paulk wasn't having it. “That's just, that's not true,” he replied. “They're not taking jobs from Americans.” “A lot of times they are filling jobs that Americans don't want,” he explained, pointing to agriculture, construction, and other labor-intensive industries. And Paulk has much more on his mind than the price of diesel or finding enough hands to harvest his grapes. His 36-year-old daughter Amy recently suffered devastating strokes that nearly killed her. She's recovering, but still struggles to speak and has only just begun eating soft foods. “Amy has come a long way,” her father said. “She's a fighter.” The experience has made access to health care in rural Georgia another deeply personal concern. But the final piece of Paulk's political transformation came after Hurricane Helene devastated his grape crop. Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff helped secure federal disaster assistance for farmers in the region, including $531 million in relief that Paulk credited to efforts crossing party lines. “He's done a lot of things, and proposed a lot of things,” Paulk said of Ossoff. “And he's crossed party lines to do it, especially with the hurricane disaster.” So this November, Paulk plans to vote for Ossoff. He still disagrees with Democrats on important issues like abortion. He hasn't suddenly changed every belief he's held for decades. But he's watched what happened to his farm, listened to the promises coming out of Washington, and remembered who helped when disaster struck. After five generations of working the Georgia soil, Gary Paulk knows the difference between a politician's promises and a helping hand when the harvest is lost.

America’s future is ours to write. We stay strongest when our leaders answer only to the American people—not to any foreign capital. Sovereignty, security, and prosperity start at home.
Trump is Putin's slave.

BREAKING: Donald Trump’s rallies are getting so small and low energy that GOP officials worry there will soon be more protesters at his events wearing “Release the Epstein Files” shirts than there will be MAGA fans to punch them.

An ABC News live blog included a 1:34 video of Dr Haines being moved from an air ambulance in Melb. Filming a seriously unwell person on a stretcher from a distance and publishing it is an intrusion into one of the most private moments a person can have. I’ve lodged a complaint.

Trump says Russia is treating Ukrainians “fine.” In the post below, Zelenskyy reports that a Russian drone strike killed six people in the Kharkiv region, including children and a girl just over a year old.
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children. I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

BREAKING: HELL YES! Texas gubernatorial candidate Gina Hinojosa sues Greg Abbott to obtain the "embarrassing" and "intimate" emails sent between his office and Elon Musk's minions. We cannot wait to read these in full... "Nobody here is accusing Greg Abbott of having a torrid love affair with Elon Musk,” Rep. Hinojosa said. "What this is about is we have the world’s only trillionaire getting massive tax breaks from this governor after giving him over $500,000 in campaign contributions." The lawsuit seeks to obtain over a thousand pages of communication which — given what we know about Musk's underhanded methods and blatant favor-buying through donations — could be extremely damaging to Abbott and the Republican Party's already-toxic brand. Numerous Musk companies are based in Texas, including SpaceX, Starlink, Tesla, X, and xAI. He donated $500,000 to Abbott's campaign and $250,000 to Texas House Speaker Dustin Burrows. At the same time, Musk has received billions in tax incentives and tens of millions in grants. From the outside looking in, it certainly looks like quid pro quo. If there's nothing untoward in these emails, why won't Abbott just release them? The Texas Newsroom filed a public records request to obtain the documents in 2025, but Abbott's office objected to the release and remarkably corrupt Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sustained the objections, with an order to release some of the materials. They were heavily redacted. “The people of Texas and the people of House District 49 are concerned over the growing power of tech giants in Texas regarding our tax dollars, resources, and data,” Hinojosa wrote in a letter to Abbott in September, asking to review the redacted information. “In light of the expanding influence of tech CEOs in Texas and the close working relationship between government and the corporate tech industry, transparency is essential for accountability, which is why I’m writing.” In her new lawsuit, Hinojosa revealed that Abbott rejected her request. Now, she's escalating the fight. Please ❤️ and share to demand that the files be released!

All our thoughts are with @helenhainesindi and her family today, in the aftermath of what looks like a deliberate and violent attack. While it’s too soon to know what happened or why, it seems clear to MFW that the way most media in this country have so staunchly promoted, defended or at the very least ignored the despicable ongoing violence and hate applauded or committed by Donald Trump’s goons and followers; the instigators of genocide and war; and the disgusting behaviour of other far-right individuals and entities in recent years must be at least partly responsible for a recent increase in more overt terror-driven and political violence. We beg the Australian media to think more deeply about their refusal to condemn violent politicians and governments and other fascistic deadshits everywhere. If they refuse to, they’re complicit in the rising future threat to many people via their despicable and cowardly silence. We’re so sorry, Helen.

Israelis mislead Royal Commission into Antisemitism @Wendy_Bacon investigates the Israel lobbyists, PR people and astroturfers behind the Combat Antisemitism Movement targeting local councils and the Royal Commission. ‘CAM wants the Royal Commission to recommend training police to enforce IHRA as it is doing in several US states where CAM trains police in “evolving forms of antisemitism”. It favours passing laws which prohibit posting online material viewed by CAM as antisemitic. It wants a National Local Government Partnership Against  Antisemitism and for Social Cohesion, delivered  through Australian Local Government Association LGAs built on CAM’s Action Plan’s four pillars.’ michaelwest.com.au/israelis-…
