“God, my Maker, who gives songs in the night.”
~Job 35:10
Any man can sing during the day. When the cup is full, man draws inspiration from it. When money is in plentiful supply, any man can praise the God who provides an abundant harvest or sends home a loaded ship. It is easy enough for a tuneful harp
to whisper music when the winds blow; the difficulty is for music to carry when no wind is stirring. It is easy to sing when we can read the notes by daylight; but it takes a skillful singer whose song springs forth when there is not a ray of light to read by. No man can make a song in the night by himself; he may attempt it, but he will find that a song in the night must be divinely inspired.
Let everything go well, then I can weave songs, fashioning them from the flowers that grow upon my path; but put me in a desert, where no green thing grows, and with what shall I frame a hymn of praise to God? How shall a mortal man make a
crown for the Lord without jewels? Let this voice be clear and this body full of health, and I can sing God's praise: Silence my tongue, put me on a bed of suffering, and how will I then chant God's high praises, unless He Himself provides the song? No, it is not in man's power to sing when everything is against him, unless an altar-coal shall touch his lip.
It was a divine song from Habakkuk that filled the night when he sang, "Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation."1 So, since our Maker gives "songs in the night," let us wait upon Him for the music. Chief musician, let us not remain songless because we face affliction, but tune our lips to the melody of thanksgiving.
~C.H. Spurgeon

You know what shook me when I was Muslim?
The story of Hosea: In it, God tells a prophet to marry a woman He KNOWS will betray him.
She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, and used up. Essentially, she is worthless to the world.
Then, God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK, to pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. (Hosea 3)
I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Bro, why would any man do that!?
Then I realized I was exactly like the wife.
I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters and I sold myself cheap. In a way, I made myself worthless.
But, God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.” Instead, He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.”
What's beautiful about this is, that’s the entire Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean.
He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty.
Islam told me to make myself WORTHY of God.
Hosea showed me an amazing, present God who pays to redeem the unworthy. The cross was Him naming the price.
Praise the Lord!

I’m a Christian who didn’t wait until marriage.
I’m a Christian who has walked away from the church.
I’m a Christian who has struggled with anger, bitterness, and forgiveness.
I’m a Christian who has lied, lost her temper, said things she couldn’t take back, and hurt people she loves.
I’m a Christian who has put people, feelings, and worldly things before God.
I’m also a Christian who STILL battles sin.
I say this, because somewhere along the way, people got this idea that following Jesus means you suddenly become incapable of making a mess of things… and I hate to break it to you, but that’s not how sanctification works.
I didn’t come to Jesus because I had it all together. I came to Jesus because I was falling apart…
I have a past. Some of it isn’t pretty. Some of it I’m ashamed of. Some of it I wish I could go back and change.
Even after a surrendering my life to Christ, I’ve had moments when my flesh was louder than my faith… but
I’m not going to dress up my testimony to make Christianity look more appealing to people who think Christians should be perfect.
I’m not going to pretend I’ve never fallen just because somebody might use my failures to question my salvation.
Because my testimony isn’t that I’ve lived a sinless life… My testimony is that Jesus met me right in the middle of my sin and loved me enough not to leave me there.
But DO NOT confuse that with me making excuses for sin.
Grace isn’t permission to keep living however I please. Grace is the very reason I get back up, repent, and keep allowing God to change the parts of me that still don’t look like Him.
Some days that growth is beautiful… Other days it’s ugly, humbling, and downright uncomfortable… but it’s growth.
I’m still being pruned. Still being convicted. Still learning to die to myself daily.
I would much rather sit at the feet of Jesus, fully aware of how desperately I need Him, than stand on some imaginary pedestal looking down on everybody whose sin happens to look different than mine.
THE GROUND IS LEVEL AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS.
You won’t find perfection in me. You’ll find a woman who has been forgiven much, who still gets things wrong, and who is eternally grateful that God’s mercy didn’t run out when she messed up again.
Jesus didn’t come because we were righteous enough to deserve Him… He came because we were sinners who desperately needed a Savior.
I still need Him.
Every. Single. Day.

I spent 22 years of my life in addiction. If there's one thing I want people to know, it's that no one is beyond the reach of God's grace. I'm living proof that Jesus still transforms lives.

Don’t be too tired to pray.
Pray in the car. Pray on your bed. Pray with half a sentence and a heavy heart. God isn’t grading your words.
Some days your prayer will be just “Lord, help me.” That’s enough. Prayer is important.
Oh the goodness of God🕊️ He satisfies us in the mornings with His unfailing love💜🕊️💜 even in the midst of storms and hard days🙏

If I had only one final message to leave with the world, it would be this: Follow Jesus before it’s too late. Turn away from sin, repent, and surrender your life completely to Him. This world is passing away, but eternity is forever. Don’t allow the distractions of this life to make you forget where you will spend eternity.

When you're born again and sealed with the Holy Spirit of God you will never be the same again.
You will begin to hate sin, especially your own. Something inside you will groan. Thats conviction.
Your conscious becomes sharp, your Spirit becomes tender and your ears become sensitive to the voice of the Lord.
You will begin to long for quiet time with the Lord
You will hunger for God's Word that nothing else can satisfy.
The scriptures will come alive.
You will begin to love people, even your enemies with a supernatural love because He sheds His love abroad in your heart.
You will have compassion for the oppressed and broken
You will have the power to forgive freely
Mercy will become your desire more than revenge
You will realize than forgiveness is liberating and healing
Your heart becomes more tender
You will find peace despite the circumstances. A peace that surpasses all understanding.
The Holy Spirit will comfort and empower you
The Holy Spirit will use you to speak blessings, not curses.
To edify, not to tear down.
You will begin to see things beyond the surface and have discernment to see things through God's eyes.
You will know when to speak and when to be still
You will not have a spirit of fear anylonger, but a Spirit of love, power and a sound mind
Eternal things will hold more value in your life than worldly, earthly things
You will find yourself resting in the storms, rejoicing even in trying times and hope will keep you moving forward
You will have heavenly wisdom that will never mislead you
You will learn to acknowledge the Lord in all your ways and have faith that He will order your steps
Pride will no longer have a place in your life because you will learn that humbling yourself is what pleases God.
You will stop living for comfort but for purpose
Holiness will become a lifestyle, not a performance
The Holy Spirit will teach you things that no man can
You will become fruitful, not just busy
Your joy will be unwavering and be your strength
Your desires will change
You will change
You will never be the same
You are now a new creature in Christ and He makes all things new ✝️

The purpose of prayer is not to inform God of your circumstances. He is well aware. It’s to surrender your agenda, trust in His sovereignty, and admit he has the ultimate authority of your life.

Few minutes before a person breathes their last, something happens that we rarely talk about.
A Christian doctor wrote a book based on his many years of experience caring for people who were transitioning from this life. He shared that when some Christians were approaching death, they were remarkably calm, peaceful, and even smiling. Some became visibly excited.
He shared the story of an elderly Christian woman who had battled asthma for many years. On her final day in the hospital, she told the doctor, “Jesus said He is coming for me today, at this time.”
And exactly at that time, she passed away—smiling.
The doctor also shared how God used him to lead some people to Christ just minutes before they transitioned.
But one story deeply shocked me.
A woman was rushed into the emergency room, and the doctors were desperately trying to save her life. At one point, her heart started beating again, but she suddenly shouted, “Fire! Fire! Help!”
Then she died again.
They managed to revive her three times, but unfortunately, they could not save her.
The doctor desperately wanted to save both her life and her soul, but he couldn't.
Then he shared the story of a Chinese man whom he tried to lead to Christ. The doctor knew the man did not have much time left, so he approached him and offered him the free gift of salvation.
The man refused.
A few hours later, something strange happened.
The sick man suddenly began fighting as though he was doing karate in the hospital ward. 😳😂
He was fighting unseen beings. Nobody could hold him. He was knocking things down and fighting with a strength that seemed impossible for someone who was so sick.
Where did that strength come from?
The doctor believed he was witnessing a spiritual battle—that the man was seeing something in the spiritual realm that those around him could not see.
Eventually, the man died.
He died a tired man for sure. 😅
Why am I writing this?
Because one day, you and I will breathe our last.
Your world will shut down right in front of you.
The question is: What will your experience be?
Will you be peaceful, calm and full of joy?
Or will you be fighting for your life?
The greatest question is not how much money you have, how successful you become, how many followers you have, or what people think about you.
Where will you spend eternity?
The Bible says, “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” — Hebrews 9:27
Whoever you have chosen to serve in this life matters.
If you belong to Jesus, you have the hope of eternal life with Him.
But if you reject Him, you are rejecting the only One who can save your soul.
Friends, life is spiritual. Heaven is real. Hell is real. Jesus is real. Eternity is real.
You can make your choice now.
Don't wait until your final breath.
Choose Jesus while you still have the opportunity.
Mbele ni kubaya sana bila Yesu.
Share this with someone. You might help someone make the most important decision of their life.

I bless the day I came across this verse because, honestly, Romans 8:1–2 came into my life like spiritual ammunition. It changed my life and helped me understand my position in Christ.
After I gave my life to Christ, the devil apparently decided, “Hmm… this one is getting serious. Let’s send somebody.”
He came through a friend, trying to convince me that I was still in bondage and not truly free. And as if that wasn’t enough, he also showed up in my dreams, accusing me and reminding me of my past.
But what the devil didn’t know was that God had already put a weapon in my hand before the battle even started.
A little while before all of this happened, I came across Romans 8:1–2. I remember getting stuck on those verses for several minutes. I memorised them. I kept going back to read them again and again.
At the time, I didn’t realise why those verses were hitting me so deeply.
I didn’t know God was basically saying, “Keep this one. You’re going to need it.”
And when the warfare came, that Word became my answer.
When the enemy came accusing me, I didn’t argue with him about my past. I didn’t try to prove myself to him. I simply stood on what God had already said:
“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.”
You said I’m still in bondage?
The Word says I’ve been set free.
You said I’m condemned?
The Word says there is now no condemnation.
You brought up my past?
Jesus has already dealt with my sin.
That verse became more than something I had memorised. It became a sword I used in the battle.
Sometimes God will make you pay attention to a particular Scripture long before you understand why.
You think you’re just reading the Bible.
Meanwhile, God is quietly putting ammunition in your spiritual arsenal.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1–2
