Herein lies the problem with BAYC and Yuga. Every new project is chasing a trend at peak. This time it's ripping packs. Trading, gaming, it's all been what everyone was doing at the time.
But none of it lasts because it's extraction. Using a circle of finance that user pay into, everyone takes a little cut, and then all the focus is to the small percentage given in "Winnings"
None of it is financially sustainable and has yet to show any traction beyond members of the club
I barely heard any talk of Otherside this weekend and the chance of success has dropped to almost zero.
I know everyone at Yuga is working hard and doing their best. There has to be a business model beyond Adam Weistman throwing money at it. The ONLY business model that will be sustainable is one that the income is from outside the apes and is not a circle of latest trend extraction
Some ape was telling his wife bayc cost 2-3k a few months ago. She said he was did smart for buying them at that price . Wonder how much she thinks he spent vs what he actually spent lol

Final take on #apefest , it was a dope experience. They could have done a better job communicating what was going on and event capacities/limitations. The beer was plentiful , snacks were good . Overall 8/10
Will give my whole take on apefest when it’s over . Overwhelmingly positive. 1 slightly awkward experience , but other that that so far everyone has been super welcoming . #apefest
