Replying to @TwitchSupport
@TwitchSupport I reported a user who sent an explicit whisper to my wife while she was live. Is there anything else I should do? Are there safety resources I can share with fellow creators? We all have a role in keeping Twitch safe.

Update: Thankfully, that account was suspended for violating community guidelines. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one to report this person. Haven’t had a follow up email from Twitch confirming they actioned on my report.

Curious about the reward scaling for Discord Quests. A 15-sec ad and a 3+ min ad currently seem to grant the same number of Orbs, and longer ads are still labeled as "30+ sec." It would be great if rewards better reflected the time commitment involved. @discord @discord_support

⚠️ New Twitch Email Scam.⚠️ Do not be fooled by an email claiming to be "Twitch Automated Audio Detection Systems" that asks you to verify your rights to use audio.

⚠️ All Clips are once again discoverable on Twitch. ⚠️ In December 2024, Twitch gave creators permission to control Clip Visibility and limit it to "Featured" clips. Now that permission is gone and all clips on your channel are visible.

.@LEGO_Group I'm willing to pay extra for no stickers and 100% printed bricks. This Star Trek Bridge set is killing me.

Hi @MicrosoftHelps I received a copyright claim using music found in Clipchamp. It is not a track from Storyblocks. Song in question is "Summer chill". I reached out to Clipchamp support but that was not helpful. Any info I can bring to YouTube to take action against this claim?

Is it worth disputing a false copyright claim on YouTube for copyright/royalty free background music used in a video?

🔧 We are aware of an issue where some people using the OperaGX browser are unable to load Twitch. We recommend that all OperaGX browser users update their browser to the latest version, as we’ve seen reports that this has resolved the issue.

A little disappointed that the Star Trek avatar frame that I unlocked via Quest is gone. Believe it was a @StarTrekFleet quest. (Yes I have Nitro). @discord_support Would have been nice to have it until at least the 60th anniversary. Was it removed due to licensing?

Twitch Mod settings will soon include a new "Hold Links for Review" option, allowing moderators to verify a link before it gets posted to chat. Currently, links are either allowed or blocked. Some users have third-party modbots that purge links from unapproved chat posters.

Mix It Up “One Year Later | Part 1/2” community update on a purple, star-filled background. The message reflects on the project’s uncertain position one year ago and thanks Patreon members for keeping it running, moderators and support volunteers for helping creators, and a community that has nearly doubled in size. Over the past year, Mix It Up shipped 123 features, including 3 new platform integrations, fixed 122 bugs, made 49 performance, accessibility, and quality-of-life improvements, delivered 62 updates, handled 2,296 support tickets, and launched a new website with integrated documentation. It also thanks community members testing the next generation of Mix It Up for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. Early builds are expected for Patreon members within the next week or two. Continued in Part 2.

Mix It Up “One Year Later | Part 2/2” community update on a purple, star-filled background. The message goes on to say that the project’s rapid growth has created more work than one person can reasonably sustain. A one-time two-month leave from a day job was spent working over 400 hours on Mix It Up, yet the backlog remained. Two goals are set for the next year: finish and ship the next generation of Mix It Up on every planned platform, and reach enough financial support for full-time development and at least one additional staff member. If every community member contributed one dollar per month, less than half the cost of a Prime subscription, that financial goal would be met. The message stresses that no one is expected to contribute and invites ideas such as Patreon benefits, partnerships, or other support options. It closes by thanking the community for helping Mix It Up move from surviving to planning what comes next.

Modified the Goal widget in @MixItUpBot. Easy to do using the HTML/CSS/Javascript editor. Here is a quick peek. Here I have Follower/Daily Troubles Caught/Daily Sub/Daily Bit goals. Sub and Bit goals increase automatically when the goal is hit.

MIX IT UP v1.8.200 IS OUT NOW! 🚀 This one brings a whole new platform, two new service integrations, and a solid pile of fixes. 🔵 WELCOME, VPZONE! @V3RTICALPIX3L is now fully integrated with streamer and bot accounts, chat (emotes and badges for broadcaster, mod, sub tiers, VPZ+, Founder, Ambassador), viewer list, moderation, channel management, Channel Points, and more. You get announce and pin/unpin actions, a full set of slash commands, events for stream start/stop, follows, subs, resubs, gifts, mass gifts, raids, channel points, cheers, clips, and shoutouts, plus the identifiers and overlay support to make it all work with the rest of your setup. 🔌 VCONNECT INTEGRATION We've added VConnect, the latest and greatest from @Remasuri32 , as a new service integration! Activate triggers, send custom messages to its WebSocket nodes, look up assets, and react to trigger activated/ended, asset spawned/despawned, asset hit, and custom message received events. 🦌 RAHITUBER INTEGRATION PNGTubers get another option with RahiTuber! Trigger State and Stop State actions by name or list position. Toggle and permanent states just need a trigger. While Held states stay on until you stop them. No events coming back the other way, just clean control. 🛠️ FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS Velora gifted subs credit the right person and fire with a proper target. Velora raids fire. Twitch reconnects after sleep are more reliable and only report connected once event subscriptions are registered. Special identifier math, nested string functions, count(), and replace() all handle messy input better. Tiltify rewards load even when one is unlimited. JustGiving connects and fires donations again. Latest video lookups refresh every 10 minutes instead of waiting for a restart. External Program actions with Wait For Finish now have a timeout so a hung program doesn't block the rest of the command. Only Public Videos is now a setting (on by default) so private, unlisted, and scheduled YouTube uploads no longer count as your latest video or Short. A few noisy error logs for missing pronouns or membership levels are quieter too. Full changelog's in the Discord. Docs on the website are already updated. You all keep building incredible things, we'll keep giving you more to build with. 💙💜❤️💚💛

Love Star Trek but there are less and less reasons for me to keep paying yearly for @paramountplus. Pay hick may be the final nail in the coffin.
