Capital A kept the non-airline stack and exited PN17 on that path. Capital A’s five growth engines: 1. Teleport (logistics) 2. AirAsia MOVE (travel superapp / distribution) 3. ADE (MRO / Asia Digital Engineering) 4. AirAsia Next / Brand AA (brand & IP) 5. Santan (F&B) When you buy ticket, your money goes into AirAsia MOVE that app. That's a different company. They then "buy" tickets from AirAsia X to fulfill this. At what price? Only insiders know. So you can think about AirAsia X as the cost center. The 5 businesses making money, the one losing money (the airline) they throw it for some loser to pick it up. That loser, might turn out to be MAG or Batik or Malaysian government. Get it now?
