Blidworth and East Leake, you’ve been a hoot today! Thank you for having us.
Time for a couple of rest days to recharge back next week for a busy one. 🫶

We believe this is the first time in our ‘On Call Support Team History’ that the whole team - all of us - have responded to an incident together. (Thanks to the gaffer for snapping this) 🚒 💨

A really big Thank You to our Network Leads. Who let us talk and be part of their quarterly meeting today. We want to ensure that our new schemes and ideas are fully inclusive. A lovely bunch of hardworking people! 🥰🙌🥰

We are visiting one of our more complex Tall Buildings in Nottingham City along with one of our On Call Teams. This is to review tactical and risk information, so that should we be called to respond here, that we are prepared. 🚒 💨
Straight in to supporting our On Call Teams development and helping a colleague get “back on the run”. Today’s drills, working at height while providing fire cover for our community.

First fire call of the day, saw the team mobilised to a report of a vehicle on fire on the A52.
Thankfully a minor incident and we are back on station prepping for a busy day.
Early starts for Jim and Graham who are off to provide ‘incident commanders’ for WorksopOC and Misterton for the day.

Nothing better than a Saturday morning training session, helping our On Call Colleagues from across Nottinghamshire maintain their skills!
It’s nearly the weekend…… but we’ve still got a bit to do. The team are working hard practicing their skills (and learning new ones!)
Very sad news to read. I only met Gav a few times, but it was clear he was a top officer. He’ll be missed by the fire community but leaves a huge legacy behind him, for us all to be proud of.❤️🔥

Team Bingham! We are on the way to you, to support with an Emergency Fire Appliance Driver 🚒 💨
We’ll be making them up to an ‘alternatively crewed’ vehicle, meaning we can send an immediate response to emergencies, while full crews travel from further away.
