2026 was the year we realised: There are many people, political agendas, and interests that are desperately invested in South Africa failing. In fact, some are actively working to try and bring it about. South Africans must be careful that our internal issues are not exploited by lemigodoyi.

I may delete this in an hour, but screenshot it if you want. I have nothing but contempt for popular people who use their influence to promote BETTING. In a country where gambling is destroying lives and families, monetising that misery is unconscionable. Have some shame!!! 😳 🤯

If this is the first time you’re seeing power up close instead of just hearing about it, that’s what NOP exists for. Follow, and start reading the room the way it actually works. #NotesOnPower

A commission has spent over 150 days exposing how power in this country actually moves. Most people are watching the arrests. We’re watching the gaps between them. This thread breaks down why. 🧵👇

And then there is the cost of talking. Marius van der Merwe testified before the commission that he’d been ordered to dispose of a body.Months later, he was found dead. The people at the bottom of these networks pay with their freedom. The whistlebs sometimes pay with their lives

So when you ask why the powerful move slower through justice than the poor, the answer isn’t hiding. It’s sitting in the gap between who investigates, who arrests, who prosecutes, and who can afford to survive the wait in between.

A lesson for young people who work in government that can be drawn from this IDAC experience: Make sure you keep records, paper trail, receipts of communication between you and your bosses. No matter hos nice your boss or immediate supervisor can be. It will save your life one day. Ms. Ramsamy can at least show a report where she summarised the dockets. One example, she advised that the Section 27 of Fadiel Adams was vague about General Madondo's failing of a Polygraph test regarding her tax evasion. This is exactly what the Commissioners had wondered why it was not done. #MadlangaCommission
