HE HAS NO CARDS!
Well, Trump's latest tweet has finally explained everything. His sudden, panicked, mysterious, and complete shift toward the Kremlin, along with his hysterical attacks on Ukraine and Zelensky, has nothing to do with hopes of persuading Putin to agree to a ceasefire, lowering diesel prices, or “supporting American farmers and ranchers.” And it doesn't require some elaborate conspiracy theory, either. The explanation, I believe, is much simpler: pure, personal, suffocating FEAR.
Fear that Putin might start “helping Iran” far more than he already does. And I suspect that this is precisely what the former KGB officer made unmistakably clear to our “genius negotiator” during their very long telephone conversation. Cross me, and I'll demonstrate just how much assistance Russia can provide its “Iranian partners,” conveniently timed to coincide with the critical election period. The resulting foreign policy and economic disaster could leave Trump completely screwed.
And the Great Orange Pumpkin knows it. He dragged America into a war that turned out to be nothing like the glorious little adventure imagined by a man whose understanding of geopolitics sometimes resembles that of an eight-year-old with delusions of grandeur. Now he has absolutely no idea how to get out of it. Shouting at reporters, renaming oceans, and posting ridiculous memes are one thing. Escaping a genuine geopolitical catastrophe is something entirely different.
Meanwhile, people around him may already be calculating that the more damage the Pumpkin does, the brighter the halo above his successor's head will appear.
But Trump's fear, at least, follows a certain logic. He understands that Putin has the ability to inflict enormous political and economic damage on him, and he may believe that the Kremlin is threatening to do exactly that. What he apparently fails to understand is that concessions will not buy him Putin's goodwill. He will get NOTHING in return. Absolutely nothing.
TRUMP HAS NO CARDS. NOT A SINGLE ONE.
In my view, he is now in the weakest negotiating position of either of his presidential terms. Xi Jinping must be watching this spectacle in disbelief. The president of the United States, the leader of the world's most powerful democracy, appears increasingly vulnerable to pressure from the Kremlin.
We may be witnessing something extraordinary: a situation in which Moscow is not merely trying to influence American foreign policy but appears capable of shaping Washington's decisions through threats and intimidation.
The Kremlin, which American presidents once confronted from a position of strength, now seems to have discovered how to exploit the fears of the man sitting in the Oval Office.
And the tragedy is that Trump appears willing to sacrifice Ukraine's interests, America's credibility, and the trust of its allies in a desperate attempt to protect himself from the consequences of his own decisions.
So much for peace through strength.
Look how things turned out, Mr. Reagan.

BREAKING: "Insane situation!" Kimberly Guilfoyle enters hysterical freefall — she's holed up in the Ambassador's house, screeching at staffers who no longer obey her with an eviction looming.
And her problems are about to get way worse...
"All these people who were totally entranced by her and ignored the writing on the wall have now wiped photos with her, gone radio silent and claim they never wanted anything to do with her," a source close to Guilfoyle told The Daily Mail.
"It's pathetic," they added.
Guilfoyle, who was fired as the Ambassador to Greece after it was revealed that she asked a MAGA donor to pay off $100,000 of her American Express debt in exchange for access to top Trump administration officials, has been given until the end of October to vacate the cushy Jefferson House, the ambassadorial residence in Athens.
It's a fittingly ignominious end to the diplomatic career of a woman whose sole qualification for the post is that she was once engaged to Donald Trump Jr. and sufficiently flattered his father.
"The people in the embassy are no longer afraid of her. Nobody is listening to her or taking her orders anymore," one source in Greece revealed. "She is all alone in that house, screaming at her old staff that they are leakers, and waiting to get kicked out. It's an insane situation."
Several sources informed The Daily Mail that the disgraced Guilfoyle may ultimately decide to remain in
Europe rather than return to the U.S. Presumably, she's worried that she'll be prosecuted for her alleged crimes since Democrats — including Rep. Robert Garcia, the ranking member of his party on the House Oversight Committee — have already announced their intentions to investigate her.
"This is the latest in a long list of corruption surrounding the Trump Administration, and we're demanding answers," said Garcia.
As for President Trump, he has already washed his hands of Guilfoyle, tossing her under the bus like he has with so many other former allies and subordinates. When asked about her, he said: "She, I guess, dated my son a long time ago."
If this woman does indeed decide to remain in Europe, Democrats need to proceed with the investigations regardless. If and when a criminal case is assembled, she should be extradited to stand trial!
Please ❤️ and share if you support prosecuting Guilfoyle!

The Editorial Board at Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal:
“President Trump’s assistance to Vladimir Putin keeps growing by the day, and in the latest example he stuck a shiv in the back of the legacy of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham.”
“When the election is over there needs to be a bipartisan reckoning for Mr. Trump’s budding alliance with the Kremlin against Ukraine, Europe and American interests.”
________
It’s good to see the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board stand up for Lindsey Graham when his sister Darline is too cowardly to stand up for the brother that raised her. There were a lot of things that I disagreed with Lindsey Graham on, but I totally agreed with his resolute support for Ukraine.
Trump wants you to believe that Ukraine is the cause of our high fuel prices and that Russia is the innocent victim of Ukrainian aggression. That’s the equivalent of blaming you if an armed intruder broke into your house, murdered members of your family, and refuses to stop murdering unless you deeded him your living room.
Maybe someday we’ll know the reason for Trump’s subservience to Vladimir Putin. His waiver of sanctions and diesel fuel deal is another indication that there’s something nefarious behind it.
Trump says his deal with Putin is in America’s national interest. Really? Remember Trump saying about our neighbor Canada, “we don't need their oil and gas?” So, it’s shun our ally Canada and embrace an adversary who wants to destroy western democracy? Try to find a sensible explanation that makes sense of that.
Trump’s embrace of Vladimir Putin is a clear and present danger to America’s national security and national interests. It’s tragic that the Republicans in Congress choose to stay down on their knees in total submission to their king at a time when they should be standing up for the good of the country.

Holy fucking shit.
"Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff have brought up the idea in talks with Ukrainian and European officials, including with Zelensky in Kyiv last month.
To help entice Russia to end the war in Ukraine, the Americans have argued, Ukraine should consider restarting pipelines that used to carry Russian natural gas to Europe.
European officials in the talks have recoiled at the idea, which would undo the EU’s years of efforts to rid itself of Russian gas. But Trump officials see Russian gas exports as a potential part of a peace settlement.”
Andy McCarthy, editor of the conservative National Review in a scathing OpEd:
“We’re now well into Putin’s third decade as Russia’s murderous dictator. And Trump is giving him aid and comfort. Congress has become a laggard even when it is in session. In a properly functioning republic, there would be immediate hearings about this week’s shocking escalation of the Trump–Putin alliance.
Since the start of Trump’s second term, it has been excruciating to watch Trump blame the victim, our ally Ukraine, for Putin’s war of aggression. Reagan and Poland this is not.
As Ukraine fights for its survival against Moscow’s would-be hegemon, Trump hectors it to surrender territory that Putin has been unable to take on the battlefield after 4 years of barbarism.
Trump claims to want peace, but his fine print consistently spells out Russia’s terms. Regardless of Trump’s personal interest, the vital American interest stems from Russia’s being America’s enemy, quite apart from being Ukraine’s enemy.
Trump has sided with the totalitarian aggressor over the allied European democracy upon which it preys.
This week, in lunatic public statements, Trump again blamed Ukraine for the war and gratuitously insulted Zelenskyy (in stark contrast to Trump’s unconcealed admiration for Putin).
Trump’s emissaries revived their pressure on Ukraine to settle the conflict by surrendering Ukrainian territory, and threatened that the admin would withhold crucial intelligence that Ukraine needs for its self-defense.
This week, Ukraine was horrified to learn, without warning, that Starshield had been restricted. Right at the moment Trump was warning Zelenskyy not to attack Russian refineries, the Starshield settings were somehow altered, such that the system could not track objects traveling at speeds greater than about 100 miles per hour - woefully inadequate to detect Russian aerial assaults.
Coincidentally, while the system was compromised, Putin’s forces conducted some of the most intensive aerial attacks against Ukrainian territory since the war began, firing 39 ballistic missiles and 128 Shahed drones, mainly at the greater Kyiv and Kharkiv areas.
At least 9 civilians were killed, and many others wounded. 26 power facilities and 4 oil and gas facilities were damaged. More than 600,000 people lost power in the capital.
If we allow common sense to enter the equation, too many dark signs point in the direction of an American admin - at the very moment it was seeking Ukraine’s capitulation and threatening to leave it defenseless by denying intelligence - taking conscious action that left Ukraine exposed to an intense attack, which Russia just happens to have conducted right at the perfect time.
This is dark. It demands answers. Now.”"

Trump has revised the map of Ukraine and generously given the country a few oceans. He actually said it out loud: “Most of Ukraine has been lost, its oceans and seas are gone.” Of course, this is hardly surprising coming from someone who confuses Albania with Armenia. But the president of the United States genuinely seems to believe that Ukraine has lost everything, rather than understanding that only part of its territory is under Russian occupation. And if, in Trump's mind, everything is already lost, that mind can produce only one conclusion: Kyiv must surrender. What it cannot understand is why Kyiv refuses to do so.
Following the same logic, that mind concludes that the global fuel crisis is not Trump's own fault, even though his actions led Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz, but Ukraine's fault for bombing Russian oil refineries. Meanwhile, according to Trump, Russian oil supplies represent “millions of barrels at low prices around the world.” In reality, oil imports from Russia, especially into the United States, are an insignificant fraction that changes practically nothing. But they symbolize Russia's return to the global market, another favor to his “friend Vladimir,” and an attack on the European Union.
And if Trump continues playing his game of deliberately losing to Russia, we may soon discover that Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia had very good reasons to sound their sirens throughout the weekend. They could genuinely find themselves under attack. Latvia would be the first to suffer. It has a large Russian-speaking population, an even larger number of people waiting for Russia to arrive, a six-lane highway running from Pskov through Riga toward the sea, and more than 270 kilometers of border with Russia that are far from adequately defended.
Meanwhile, Trump deliberately looks away as Russia is already destabilizing EU countries, from the Baltic states all the way to Paris. In France, this takes the form of mass protests supposedly organized by students. In Poland, it takes the form of terrorist attacks in schools, disrupting normal life throughout the country.
There is a theory that this turbulence will continue until the American midterm elections on November 3. But that idea is far too optimistic. Instability will not simply disappear after the elections. Russian ambitions have been inflamed far too much by Trump's daily statements.

Something is happening to the US that is slow, systematic and deadly. Trump is dismantling our country, and it’s deliberate, calculated and surgical.
1: trump killed NATO partnership, our strongest defense alliance against Russia and China
2: trump’s HHS Secretary is killing our public health infrastructure, creating a more sicker and vulnerable America with communicative diseases
3: over at the pentagon trump’s frat boy Petey is firing our most qualified generals, depleting our best military hardware rapidly, in a stupid war to make our military a third world level armed forces
4: trump’s DOGE deliberately hollowed out our government from essential experts, to zap its functioning capabilities
5: trump killed USAID, and we lost our goodwill around the world and became isolated pariah
6: trump ICE became his brown shirts, killing and abusing Americans to obey
7: trump’s weirdo FBI director is charging everyone and anyone to silence Americans
8: trump DOJ is robbing the treasury to the tune of $1.8 billion dollars, to create an army of bribed foot soldiers to protect their dismantling of the country during midterm elections
9: trump’s interior secretary is dismantling our national parks
10: trump’s economic team of Bassett and lutnick is crashing the economy, creating a population of economically disadvantaged
11: trump’s Epstein files are now officially been shelved to protect trump the destroyer
12: trump let his oligarch enabler Peter Thiel to confiscate all our private data, including social security, tax, health and court and business records
13: finally and most importantly, trump and his family and his oligarch enablers are looting our treasury, and stuffing our tax dollars into their pockets.
Now tell me, you don’t think trump is a foreign agent, disguised as the president of the U.S, installed to destroy the US? Could it be that fuck Putin, specially after lifting all sanctions against Russia? Or, the other fuck Elon, the asshole AIPAC Netanyahu, the anti Christ fuck Theil owning trump’s ass? Trump is no longer doing the duties of the president, but having out loud fantasies about men in his circus rallies, shit posting all day, all night, and golfing in the weekend. Drag this enemy of America out of the White House. That foreign escort “Epstien hooker” Melania too.

A Monument to Ego and Greed: The Utter Rot of the Trump Legacy
Nothing Trump has done resembles an American president. We have seen ZERO instances of actual compassion and empathy for working class families who are struggling. We have seen ZERO effort to help all Americans. What we have seen is a narcissistic, greed-driven conman whose only ambition is self-enrichment and having monuments named after him.
He didn't view the Oval Office as a public trust; he viewed it as a corporate acquisition. While working families watched their healthcare costs soar and manufacturing jobs disappear, he used the presidency to line his own pockets and cut taxes for his billionaire donors. Every policy was a transaction, every crisis was a photo-op, and every public speech was a reality TV grievance session.
A real leader unifies a nation in times of crisis. Trump has spent years actively tearing it apart, weaponizing our differences, and treating half the country as the enemy. He traded American democratic norms for the playbook of a cheap fascistic autocrat, leaving a legacy of division, debt, and institutional decay. It wasn't public service — it was the ultimate political scam.

“Lindsey Graham spent the last year of his life gathering support for the eponymous bipartisan Act which Trump killed before taking the stage at Mar-a-Lago and hosting another RNC fundraiser. (Money that he mostly keeps for himself and spends on his party miserly, making the billionaires who benefit from his corruption foot the bill for their corrupt candidates). Elon Musk alone has spent $158 million on the Texas Senate race to support the execrable and vehemently corrupt Ken Paxton.
Of course, the spineless GOP will clap and cheer like trained seals as Trump essentially spits on the grave of Lindsey Graham while foisting Lindsey’s unqualified sister, Darline, on the United States Senate. Her recent performance at a Judiciary Committee hearing, attacking Jack Smith with debunked MAGA talking points, proved in Trump’s eyes she is a dog that will hunt -defending her deceased brother’s legislative legacy will be the furthest thing from her mediocre mind should she win his seat for a full term.
Hopefully the people of South Carolina will prevent such an atrocity. We live in a country of cowards festooned with crosses claiming to be patriots.
Real bravery seems lost in this age of idiocy, at least if you only skim the headlines. However, there are valiant actions at the grassroots level that are happening all over this nation - in the coming midterm election we may see the results of their efforts.” noelcasler.substack.com/p/th…
