Hey @TillamookDairy I am uncomfortable with you routing money to CAIR, an organization tied with the 9/11 hijackers and other Islamist organizations. I am going to stop buying any Tillamook products until this Halaal certification is removed.
IFANCA has provided grants to CAIR entities per IRS Form 990 data, including about $40,000 (2016-2018) and $130,000 to CAIR-Chicago (2020-2022), plus smaller recent amounts. It also funds other Muslim groups such as ICNA Relief/HHRD, CIOGC, and Al-Furqaan Foundation.
Certification fees mainly cover operations, staff (president compensation over $500k), large investments (assets now ~$132M), and community/religious/education/relief grants. No evidence of formal operational ties beyond these donations.

Halal certification is not free. Companies pay fees (typically $500–several thousand annually, varying by products/facilities) to certifying bodies for audits and approval.
Tillamook’s cheese certificates are issued by the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA), a US-based nonprofit Islamic organization.
Oh wow @TillamookDairy are all your products Halaal? I am a huge fan and buy many products : ice creams, cheeses, buttermilk (for years). If this exists on anything I intend to buy, I am not buying it. I avoid @KarounDairies products for this reason. No food jihad.
