Kitty silently placed herself in the keep box, hoping for the best.

“I could say the same right back atcha!” Kitty blew a kiss her direction, her smile stretching ear to ear.

Nice. Kitty was painfully broke at the moment (same old same old). She offered him a respectable nod of her head before sipping on her drink. Her nose crinkled slightly, she didn’t actually enjoy the taste.

“Okay, grandpa.” Kitty huffed before grumpily plucking her hand from his head. “Talk about no fun.” She mumbled.

“Double dog dare ya to try and take ‘em off.”

“Especially after today. That training was /crazy/! Sometimes I swear they’re tryna kill us.”

“My girl.” She gave a thumbs up.

“Aw, you noticed, I’m flattered.” Kitty feigned a blush, raising her hands to her cheeks with a corny smile.

Replace? Huh, she never thought of that, and she probably never will. Hopefully he replaced enough for the both of them. “Cheers, pal.”

“Why the long face?”

If anyone was going to get a beer, it would be him. Happily, she handed him one, cracked open and everything.

“Gimme /one/ good reason why I should take this hand outta your head.”

Oh, never. It’s pretty much up for grabs if you’re sneaky enough. Or if you felt like fighting for it. Kitty was definitely sneaky enough.

An immediate nudge back, slightly harder.

Today was… a ridiculously long day. And you know what hits better than an ice cold beer? One of /Logan’s/ ice cold beers. No one tell.
