Idk why we’re doing this again but it’s Kendrick, not even a debate.
Who's better at storytelling?

Malice and Method Man are both older and rap circles around him with fewer words required. Nas and Black Thought are also far better at the same age. A lot of rap fans expose themselves as being enamored by how many words Em strings together despite usually saying fuck all lol
The People calling Eminem "Trash" & asking him to retire are so funny, Cause which rapper is rapping this good at 53?

One year ago today, Rochelle Jordan released “Through The Wall”. A record that blends deep house, dance pop, and alternative r&b flawlessly. It's truly impeccable and one of the best albums of the decade which I still can't get enough of.

41 yrs ago today, Kate Bush released “Hounds of Love”. An album that mixed her art pop brilliance with sonic experimentation and conceptual storytelling in the Ninth Wave section. It remains one of the most influential albums in music history and is an absolute masterpiece.

"Weakness"? I didn't even need to include Control, Goosebumps, Vice City, Hood Gone Love It, Stay Ready, etc on this list. He's got some really bad duds for sure, but that goes for 99% of rappers anyway
Out of all of Kendrick's weaknesses, being a feature artist might be his biggest one. Both Drake and Cole smoke him in that aspect of the game.

Artists don't owe fans new music, let alone on a set schedule. Some value a scarcity mindset, which increases value. Releasing too frequently dilutes that value. Every artist must decide which option fits their creative process and the audience they've built.
🚨 Akademiks reacts to Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming AZ Chike collaboration and says Kendrick has “starved his fans” by barely releasing music Ak says he understood the long gaps when Kendrick was leaving TDE, but now that he has pgLang, he doesn’t get why he’s still so absent: “I just feel the nigga lazy, bro.” He jokes that being a Kendrick fan has to be rough: “If you a Kendrick fan, you still listening to like DAMN. or some shit.” Ak still says Kendrick is important to rap and the West Coast, and says he’s hoping the AZ Chike record is good

Why did ADÉLA mostly abandon the electric-pop sound man? 😔 I get she wants more accessibility but these safer tracks are making her inexperience as a songwriter stand out…
