TNM March reviews bag just catches the most brain-breaking, beautiful return as Neurosis emerge with a whole new album, alongside another return from Poison the Well, Lamb of God, Gaerea, Hellripper, Aggressive Perfector, Mallavora, & Sweet Pill.

Lorna Shore, Fleshwater, Scorpion Milk, La Dispute, Modern Life is War, Der Weg Einer Freiheit, & Die Spitz albums get tackled, but with another crushing blow to metal we also try to find words for one of the underground's truest heroes Tomas Lindberg.

More than 15 years without an album, still the band at the centre of every "real metalcore" debate, the business
Amidst the trenches of the current day metalcore wars we embark on a special on one of its most pivotal bands as Poison the Well bring new drama, romance, and the most kickass mosh parts on genre-definers The Opposite of December and Tear from the Red.

We take stock of the state of some of our most popular heavy bands with Architects, Spiritbox, & A Day to Remember, as well as Whitechapel, Spiritworld, Warbringer, Imperial Triumphant, & Rwake. More hardcore bands imploding over idiocy too.

We come to the end of the line. The Tony Martin years reach their highs and lows, there's a surprise Dio return for the meanest Sabbath album ever, and we reflect on when Black Sabbath stop being a creatively active band and adopt legacy status.

We pick up our quest to shine a light on Black Sabbath's lost years in the mid 80s, where chaos reigns. A who's who of swapping members, the very band name an afterthought, and the single funniest album cycle of all time. Welcome, we're Born Again.

It's the night of the vampire at TNM as we experience a symphony of horror across three versions and over 100 years of Nosferatu, talking silent film, Herzog, Eggers, rats, its connections to goth and black metal, and lovingly celebrate that moustache.

2025 Album Clubs come from the land where the mullet attacks: Sabaton's Swedish concept album Carolus Rex, Hatebreed's Satisfaction is the Death of Desire, Visigoth's The Revenant King, and Family Force 5 give us Business Up Front/Party in the Back.

We undertake our massive time travelling back ten years to 2014, looking at what the trends were in metal, how much things have changed, the bands who flopped, the bands who thrived, and the bands who... just lost their minds a bit?

10 years of changing trends, 10 years of gazing in awe at Xzibit in the sky, 10 years of wondering why Upon a Burning Body did that

If you'd like to hear me chat about records that are deeply resonant with what we've been doing, I got the chance to do so with the lovely people from @NotMetalPod !
Give these records a spin - I'm sure those who love some of these already will have plenty to love in the rest!
We are joined by drummer and vocalist Alasdair Dunn of @Ashenspire_ for one of our most eclectic Album Roulettes with dance-noise, abstract hip-hop, discussion of the true ethos of post-black metal, and tips on getting into jazz as a metal fan.
