Yes we want girls to know they can be astronauts. No it’s not necessary to tick the fairy/unicorn/princess crown box on every thing you sell to them. Give girls the chance to like all sorts of stuff beyond these oh so repetitive signifiers. P.S. pls allow boys more colours thnx

.@letclothesbe pleased to report that my local @clarksshoes had removed ‘boys’ and ‘girls’ signs - shelf was just school shoes. Kids picked their favourite colour from a wheel on the iPad too, instead of being offered pink or blue.
