World leaders.
Bureaucrats.
believe the population is too stupid to discern truth from deception.
Some may be...
But...
how much of that ignorance is the product of generations being taught what to think rather than how to think?
carefully constructed narratives,
written into textbooks,
taught in classrooms,
reinforced by institutions,
repeated until questioning it becomes more controversial than believing it.
Imagine needing an entire education system to convince people that your version of reality is the correct one. 😂
bureaucracy is a system for keeping everyone too busy filling out forms, paying fees, and sending their children off to be indoctrinated by the same machine they are too exhausted to question...
Their greatest achievement...
convincing people that indoctrination is intelligence and questioning it is ignorance.

Or weaknesses are challenged...
At least this is my experience...
There are some people who lack internal control...
so they tend to challenge those around themselves rather than trying to control themselves.
Probably why I prefer nature to society
