Dear Gianandrea Noseda, Today, I received the CD set of Brahms's complete symphonies performed by Maestro Gianandrea Noseda and Orchester der Oper Zürich💿. I immediately listened to all of them—Symphonies No. 1, No. 3, No. 2, and No. 4. Personally, Symphony No. 2, with its gentle atmosphere, is my favorite of the four; however, I am also particularly fond of the fourth movement of Symphony No. 1—a work completed only after twenty-one years of struggle following the initial idea to compose a symphony at the age of twenty-two. Listening to Maestro Gianandrea Noseda’s music—characterized by both meticulous precision and a profound spirituality that conveys the sincerity of Brahms (who revered Beethoven) toward his muse—I was moved to reflect on the significance and value of living one's life with genuine sincerity.
