My message at the 🇺🇳 today: No double standards on international humanitarian law. Civilians must be protected, in Ukraine, Palestine, Sudan and elsewhere. Norway will speak out, support humanitarian action and use diplomacy to defend the rules that protect people in war. #UNGA81

The flags at the Embassy of Sweden in Amman were flown at half-mast following the passing of His Majesty King Harald V of Norway, as were the flags at all government buildings across Sweden. 🇳🇴
We extend our sincere condolences to the Norwegian Royal Family and the people of Norway at this time of loss. His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf also expressed his condolences and deep sorrow in a statement issued by @kungahuset.

It is was an honour meeting President Aoun in Beirut. I expressed Norway’s solidarity with Lebanon and reiterated our long-standing commitment.
We support Lebanon's call for a full ceasefire. The Israeli attacks on 🇱🇧civilians & infrastructure are unacceptable and must cease.
