The evidence points to the fact that more tankers have been attacked in September than in any previous month. The question is if some nations, like Kuwait, are paying off the Iranians not to attack their ships, while others, such as the Saudis and Emirates are not.
The Iranians have not shown much restraint as demonstrated by the death of an Indian crewmember on board Cape Dao.

Wiper Suraj Yadav of Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, is dead after MV Cape Dao was attacked today while sailing toward India.
28 crew on board, 20 of them Indian.

Assurances mean nothing. Innocent civilian seafarers are being slaughtered in and around Hormuz.
FSUI demands immediate accountability, safe passage, and justice for Suraj Yadav and every Indian seafarer still at risk.

If you want to know why antisemitism is on the rise and Israel cannot get a fair shake, no network except Fox carried Netanyahu's speech as he was delivering it live. Meanwhile, scores of Israel's opponents and enemies got endless coverage with their dozens of speeches. I created two indexes of religious behavior.
One is private acts like reading holy texts, reading devotionals, watching services online.
The other is social acts like attending in person worship, attending small groups, and speaking to others about religion.
No matter how high one scores on the private dimension, happiness doesn't change at all.
But as social religious behavior increases, so does self-reported happiness.
This is why I LOVE Japanese model trains, especially those made by KATO.
That steam engine is only a little over one inch long.
Incredible that such a tiny engine works so flawlessly.

Understand what voting for Democrats this November means. It means a return to the Biden years. The meaningful progress we've made with getting women's sports back to being for women only will be rolled back and then some. Despite the polls saying how 66% of you support women only in women's sports. Dem politicians don't care.
I hate the Iran war. It's not that it was wrong. But there was a huge difference between concept (good) and execution (horrendously bad). I hate the inflation. Trump gets a D- from me for his 2nd term. He's been awful.

One of the most unusual diesel passenger locomotives ever made. Other than the Santa Fe, I don't think any other railroad bought one.
As far as I know, none were preserved. I think after Amtrak formed, the Santa Fe might have kept them, and converted them to freight service. 3,000 hp locomotives were too valuable to give to the Feds.
Photos of these units are rare. This one seems to be already converted to freight train use.

In other words, "AGI" is going to be redefined as a concept rather than a technology. Basically, we already have AGI with social networking, AI, and the internet in general. So this article is just saying we will just have more of the same, faster, and "maybe" better, but since AGI is the creation of men, it suffers the lack that all of our fancy creations face: a lack of understanding of the second, third, fourth, ad infinitum, order effects and consequences of moving in that direction.
