Sharding
@QuaiNetwork sharding does not create shards by design, it creates them automatically when the single chain saturates.
The network measures its own performance.
When the uncle rate climbs high enough to indicate that transaction demand is exceeding throughput, the system adds a second shard without any human intervention.
A single Quai chain can handle between 700 and 1,000 transactions per second before this triggers.
After that, throughput doubles.
Then doubles again.
There is no ceiling.

This is huge, but if you stop at "over 50% of supply removed" or "low inflation till 2029 then none", you're missing out...
Yes, the Singularity Fork will dramatically reduce future inflation, so much so that QUAI actually has less inflation left than many top 100mcap coins. However, coupled with SOAP there is something elegant still silently at play.
QUAI is PoW, and as such still has mining emissions, however with SOAP those emissions are offset with buybacks and burns, giving QUAI a soft cap of ~1.4 billion supply. Because those emissions are still there though (albeit offset), billions of QUAI will be paid out to miners and billions burnt. This gives QUAI a massive velocity, and greatly strengthens it's Gini Coefficient.
Having a good Gini Coefficient is crucial for adoption, why would anyone want to adopt an asset that is disproportionally held by early adopters? With a soft capped supply of 1.4B, QUAI will have a significant double digit supply turn over YoY.
PoW is the most fair distribution method, accessible to anyone. SOAP and Singularity uphold that distribution, while doubling down on phenomenal tokenomics.
