I just realized a big reason why people deny white people their heritage, it’s because we keep good records. You see, you can’t ask most other people where their people were 400, 1000 or 2000 years ago. They traveled and migrated too (although much shorter distances) but they didn’t write it down. So for all they know they’ve always been “here” wherever here happens to be. But I was telling my daughter the story of Our Lady of Walsingham tonight at bed and I was able to tell her that our people used to live there, in England, but they got on boats 400 years ago and sailed across the ocean and came to America and that’s how come we can be both English and American at the same time. You see we know the Amerindians came across the Alaskan land bridge for example, because we’ve done DNA tests but the Amerindians didn’t know that themselves. They had always been here according to them. It’s the same with Africans, Indians, some Asians, middle easterners, etc. They’ve moved around too but most kept no records. It’s actually our competence and intelligence working against us in a way because our founding stories were always one of migration and theirs were not, we belong to no where according to them.
