Every jumps yard has its months. Bookmark this for the season ahead!
We took the 16 biggest yards in Britain and split their last three seasons into months, from October to the Sandown finale.
Then we set each month's strike rate against that yard's own average, so no yard is measured against a bigger or smaller string. Only months with 50 or more runners count.
Some come out flying. Twiston-Davies have struck at 26.9% in October against 16.4% across the season. Venetia Williams runs at 24.6% in November and 4.2% in April.
Others build into it. Donald McCain sits at 5.1% in October, and Ben Pauling peaks in February at 26.6%.
The core season started at Chepstow last weekend. October and November are where the early yards have done their best work.
