You can't make the lowest income (minimum wage) and expect it to provide an "average" lifestyle.
It makes a very low lifestyle. You might even say poor.
You can't undo that with tweets or legislation.

"We don’t sell your data" is a word game, not a privacy promise.
Average person thinks it means: your data stays private.
Legally it means: we didn’t transfer ownership for cash.
Renting it, licensing it, swapping it for ads, or "sharing" it with partners still happens.

Also kill the ad dodge:
"We do not use or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising."
If they won’t say that, "we don’t sell your data" is not a guarantee, IT'S SIMPLY MARKETING.

Short version to demand from any company:
Don’t sell. Don’t rent. Don’t license. Don’t share for their use. Don’t trade it for ad targeting.
Only vendors who work for you, the law, a sale of the business, or my approval.
That’s the sentence that actually matches what people think the first sentence means.
