As a loyal subscriber of the digital edition, I enjoy the Friday Motoring feature (Cars). However still awaiting the review of the vehicle of yesteryear where there's only a few on the road now. #TelegraphCars @Telegraph

I can't remember who it was, but why was most of his filming done in Liverpool Anglican Cathedral? A more neutral venue would have been better. It impacted what he was saying about himself just by association. #70up #Liverpool

Michael Portillo is in your neck of the woods this week. Will we see you as Rye is on his itinerary? It may be a repeat showing during the afternoon. @revpaulwhite

If the Lords & Commons pass it, or Commons only, and consequently it moves to the Royal Assent, can it be stopped in any way? Courts? Cabinet? Privy Council? The 2024 cohort of Labour MPs aren't upto scratch; something needs to be put in place as situation can't be repeated.
Sarah Olney educated the last assisted suicide Bill's sponsor, Kim Leadbeater, on her own Bill, pointing out the danger that it could lead to doctors profiting from assisted suicide services. Sadly, these concerns still exist with the revived assisted suicide Bill.

What's happened to this week's Connfessions from Simon Mayo and the gang? @greatesthitsuk

Now that we know Norway will be playing England at the World Cup I look forward to the captain's handshake when Norway will give Harry Kane a pennant and Harry will give Ødegaard 79 recycled Trafalgar Square Christmas trees.

Struggling how you as minister of CM&S can control what individuals can post. Taking the moral high ground like this is just a cop-out from doing your day job. Perhaps you and EdSec can work together to reduce vitriolic speech into civilsed discussion.
I've decided to leave this platform and my Department will too. A platform originally designed for free speech and expression now favours abuse and misinformation over meaningful debate. It isn't healthy for our democracy or our communities and I don’t want to support it.

I've just read a news report about the King's Defender of the Faith issue. It comes as no surprise whatsoever, having made this known for years. What on earth is all the fuss about? How will it change day-to-day life? I doubt ++Sarah or ++Stephen will be losing any sleep.

This is so great from a Hereditary on their last day in the chamber. Note that there was an attempt to silence him, which he ignored. She sat down and continued scrolling through her phone. Lovely responses from peers to his speech. @AndyCrockatt
So proud of my Dad for his spontaneous valedictory Speech, following removal of Hereditary Peers from House of Lords. If they won't give you a slot...make one!

There's plenty of news about the fire yesterday. However, the Diocese of Liverpool a Cyber Attack. Not wishing to diminish news of the fire, as regards the cyber incident, recall Jaguar LandRover who had one last year which cost a lot and also impacted their supply chain.

It's been interesting and enlightening during this Lent and Easter season. In addition to that, we've had the election / installation of the Archbishop of Canterbury. Who knows whether attendances have grown or not? However, there's been many commenting, akin to football pundits!

People will say or feel what they like about Huntley, the attack, and the outcome. I believe the focus need to be on violence in prisons, with focus on prison officers, who are put in horrendous danger. That needs to be the focus of attention to address. #NOMS #POA #Prisons
🚨 NEW: Double child killer Ian Huntley is hours from death after his life support was switched off following a prison attack last week

I'm quite surprised at the amount of criticism that Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle advised the police that Peter Mandelson was a flight risk, leading to his arrest. He has done the right thing. Flight risks are very upsetting for the friends and families of those suspected of murder.
Mr Speaker does his duty, as always.

Skye Newman wins the BBC Sound of 2026 (no offence to her). The year is still in single figures, surely the award should be considered at the end of the year. Really says it all about our national broadcaster! #BBC #2026

I enjoyed Quentin Willsons reports. He had no qualms either about diesel, and gave common-sense advice and information. Not a boy-racer like many of his colleagues. RIP Quentin

Not before time, but congratulations all the same. The significance of Hope Street between the two buildings is just so very appropriate.

I am saddened by this tragic fire and my thoughts are with the family and friends of those involved and everyone in the Rushton community. Thank you to the emergency services who attended the scene.
