Just left Tesco. Handwritten note on the windscreen of my patrol car. '£100 fine for shopping on duty'. If only I could tell the person who wrote it that I have just spent the last 7 hours at the sudden death of a baby. I'd bought a sandwich. We're not robots. #BeKind #WoundUp

We've been told today to remove our #ThinBlueLine patches from our body armour as it may cause offence. I will not be removing mine & my staff won't either. Us bobbies all know what that patch means, and we remember our colleagues who made the ultimate sacrifice. ❤️🇬🇧

Shift worker, tired, how do you know?... Well you have 8 hours between your shifts and proceed to spray shaving foam under your arms instead of deodorant, that's how. Send coffee. 🙈🙃🚔☕️

Can we please start giving OBE's, MBE's, KPM'S etc to nurses, police officers, paramedics, firefighters, teachers, RNLI..... People who genuinely go above and beyond and make a difference in the world.

I was called a 'racist gang member' at a job last night for having the thin blue line badge and my poppy pin on my body armour. I genuinely do not recognise the place I grew up in and began my policing career in anymore. #LestWeForget #ThinBlueLine

RTC yesterday, two vehicles. I was first on scene, traffic colleagues were miles away. Got everyone out the vehicles, giving first aid, two people with cuts. Guy comes up and starts filming me as I had parked my car on a grass verge!!! This is the world we work in every day.

Got assaulted a while back (spat at). The guy spat at me because he claimed I couldn't arrest him without wearing my hat. The court didn't agree with him today, silly sausage. 🤯🤣🚔

I take great pleasure in putting a big hard man who's beaten his wife and daughter to a pulp into handcuffs. Absolute scum of the earth, and he's on his way to prison. Why I still do what I do despite the hate we face on a daily basis. 🚔🔐

Had my photo taken with some kids yesterday, police obsessed!! Literally made their day they were that happy. Cost me nothing. Make someone's day today if you can, too much negativity in life. #BeKind 😀👮🏼‍♂️🚔

A police car just drove past me with sirens on. How inconsiderate can you be??!! Trying to get to someone as quick as possible to help them!! Bloody police helicopters & police cars trying to save lives. Its disgusting & I won't have my human rights breached. #TheyLiveAmongstUs

I would never expect a PCSO to get involved with an incident beyond their training, lack of PPE, etc. But please shout up on the radio! What you've been told by the member of public, ask for a patrol to attend instead. 99% of PCSO's would, sadly this video gives all a bad name.

It is okay to like the police, pass it on. 👮🏼‍♂️👮‍♀️🚔🚨

Stop checked a guy yesterday sleeping in a tent by the side of a lay-by. Turned out to be an Iraq/Afghanistan army veteran who's struggled for years post military. Spoke for ages & have things lined up to help him. It's not all about arrests & crime, he deserves far better. 🇬🇧🎖
