Yesterday, IFRC President Kate Forbes @KateForbes_IFRC visited a @RedCrossLebanon Blood Center. It’s one of 13 centers across the country that collects over 43,000 units of blood each year. Kate notes this isn’t all that @RedCrossLebanon does. They maintain ambulance centers, health centers and medical mobile units. Teams are also supporting refugees and internally displaced persons. “The Lebanese Red Cross emphasizes and reflects the great work our National Societies do providing humanitarian assistance to those who need it most,” she said.
