My dyslexic daughter: 2 Parent home (Ps) 2 Ps were teachers 2 yrs of Preschool 2 yrs of kinder Taught to read before going to public school. The district's balanced literacy and 3 cueing approach knifed her love of reading, confidence, and peace. She's still in recovery

Cartoon blog saying: You are a writer and you are dyslexic? Yep. Dyslexia is invisible—so its tough to see as a disability. It is also mistakenly seen as writing words backwards or difficulty in school. It is really about, among other things: reading slowly, transposing letters, forgetfulness, trouble w/ working memory, difficulty focusing.
