I feel this. Taught my girl stuff like “skill issue” and when she used it on me in proper context I was just like:

Oh for sure. Taking Ozai’s bending away and not sacrificing his moral code was the correct choice to end the war, I just wish there were more mentions of the Lion Turtle and energybending throughout the show.
I’ll clown on Sasuke for ALL the dumb shit he did like running headlong into the Kage Summit thinking he wasn’t going to get his ass kicked, but killing Danzo was a massive fucking W.

It’s better that Aang didn’t kill Ozai but did the energybending have clues and buildup I missed? Because it kinda feels like a deus ex machina to give Aang an out from the hard choice he was being faced with until he met the Lion Turtle.
Like no, I’m not going to sit through 20 filler episodes right when Naruto has Kurama ripped out of him and is holding on by a thread with Sakura physically grabbing his heart and pumping it by hand.
The only Naruto filler I couldn’t sit through was those two filler arcs during the highest points of the 4th Great War.
Well, you see, it’s because they’re trans and trans people aren’t allowed to be happy or even exist according to the worst people you’ll ever meet.
It’s always funny how they act like it’s changing an existing character that’s the problem but You could make an original character and they’ll still be racist. Might as well just do what you want, yeah?
