Mick Lynch wants a progressive wealth tax, which is a Green Party Policy, with the richest paying the same as everyone else on PAYE, 47%.
That would bring in hundred of billions, it is time for the richest to pay what everyone else has been paying their whole lives.

Banks are pocketing billions in extra profits from the same interest rate hikes hammering households.
I'm presenting a petition in Parliament ahead of the Budget for a windfall tax on banks to fund cost-of-living action.

Royal Mail has been told that it could save £650m by only delivering things 3 days a week.
Did you know that the taxpayer could save £4,000m a year if Royal Mail had never been privatised, or if it was renationalised, and deliver 5 days a week.
I'd go with that.

Thames Water is due to run out of money (again) over the next few weeks. A year and a half ago it was given a £3 billion bailout now it's asking for another £2.4 billion.
We really are being taken for mugs.

112 months since Grenfell.
72 lives lost to systemic failures that should never have happened.
The Met has now handed its files to the CPS, but more than nine years later, no one has been held criminally accountable.
We are still fighting for justice.

🚨NEW: I've tabled a parliamentary motion for a windfall tax on bank profits to fund urgent cost-of-living support.
Britain’s biggest banks have made tens of billions in windfall profits from the same interest rate hikes that are now hammering households.
They should pay up!
Watching Big Chicken:A Fast Food Conspiracy, I was shocked to see the damage the chicken industry is doing to rivers, communities, animals. And now I’ve learned the Government wants to expand Big Chicken. I've signed the petition to stop it 👉 you.38degrees.org.uk/petitio… via @38degrees

I've just signed the Palantir Pledge, joining politicians across the world in committing not to support any public contracts with this US tech giant.
The next big battle here is to use the upcoming break clause to kick Palantir out of our NHS!
John Howard retweeted
🚨More than 20 NHS trusts have stopped using Palantir's waiting-list tools, according to Freedom of Information responses analysed by the @FT.
The tech isn't working. Ministers must not renew Palantir's £330m #NHS contract. Back the break clause: nopalantirinthenhs.com

🚨 @tom_watson, paid to defend Palantir, says listening to NHS patients & staff who oppose its contract would be "mob rule".
He's also been repeating debunked claims about what Palantir's software does for patients.
Palantir has no place in our NHS.

🚨Yesterday, people at 40+ hospitals across England said: no Palantir in the NHS.
Palantir works with the Israeli military and ICE, and holds a £330m contract for NHS patient data.
It can be scrapped within weeks. Share this and tell the government: back the break clause.

They’ve been dumping shit in the rivers for six years and the punishment is a fine smaller than the CEO’s annual bonus. We get the sewage and the price rises, they get the dividends. It fucking stinks, in more ways than one.
South West Water (SWW) has been fined almost £8m for hundreds of sewage spillages across Devon and Cornwall over a six-year period.

When the Conservative Party was last in power they repeatedly tried to curtail our human rights under the existing convention we’re already apart of.
They passed new anti strike laws designed to rob millions of workers of their democratic right to strike, an Elections Act locked millions of people out of the electoral process and new laws stripped back our right to protest and limited our rights to judicial review.
Would anyone seriously trust that lot with their human rights?
“We would.. come out of the ECHR and repeal the Human Rights Act and not replace it” Tory Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp tells @SkyNews
NOT REPLACE IT!
The European Convention on Human Rights PROTECTS US ALL
The rights within it – firmly implanted into UK law by the Human Rights Act are the reason why families devastated by disasters like Hillsborough could demand justice, why victims of abuse can seek safety and why disabled people are treated with dignity in care. It grants our right to protest, our right to privacy, our right to fair trials and so much more.
WE MUST PROTECT IT NOT LEAVE IT
Andy Burnham has said the new water bill will “start a 10-year journey to a very different water system".
He has an open goal with Thames Water. The company is insolvent. The legislation already exists to effect the transition to public ownership.
