BREAKING: Several GOP senators are reportedly rethinking their plans to run for reelection in 2028 after Donald Trump just announced Stephen Miller as his chief-of-staff because two years of Miller being in charge will have the blue wave in 2028 make 2026 look like low tide.

With Dems all but certain to prevail in Mississippi and Alaska, we're most likely looking at a 56D-44R Senate and a ~260D-175R House, which would be Dems' largest House majority since 1992.

🚨 BREAKING: Texas Governor-elect Gina Hinojosa fires back at Donald Trump following his warning about what would happen if she attempts to reopen the southern border. “You cannot tell me what to do in my state. I am a Democratic governor, and I know what is best for my people. I have the interests of all Texans at heart, and I will do everything possible to be the best governor for this state. Texas is our home, and we will work to make it a peaceful place for everyone.” Yesterday, Gina Hinojosa said her administration would work for ALL Texans, not just those who voted for her. She also outlined the next steps as she prepares to take over the governor’s office. During her first press conference, she introduced her bipartisan transition team and explained what Texans should expect from her incoming administration. Among the transition team members is Ernest Bailes, a former Republican state representative who opposed Governor Greg Abbott’s school voucher plan. Hinojosa says she intends to represent the entire state, regardless of political affiliation, and work for both Democrats and Republicans. “I will work for all Texans, irrespective of their political party, whether Democrats or Republicans. We all call Texas home.”
😱BREAKING: President Trump has warned that if Texas’ new Democratic governor, Gina Hinojosa, attempts to reopen the southern border, HE WILL STEP IN AND SECURE IT HIMSELF. “If they don’t continue my policy? I WILL!” Trump says he will ensure that Texas’ border remains secure if the state’s new leadership refuses to maintain his border policies. 🔥 Thankfully, the federal government still has a role to play in border security. Deportations continue, and Trump says the border will remain secured. Meanwhile, Trump has also signed an executive order requiring Congressional approval before any future administration can make major modifications to the Oval Office or Cabinet Room. This comes after he oversaw the demolition of an entire wing of the White House without Congressional approval. The move raises questions about the limits of presidential authority over changes to the historic White House.

🚨 THE WHITE HOUSE IS IMPLODING! MSNOW’s White House correspondent Paula Reid says White House staff is so frustrated with Trump’s focus on his ballroom that officials are planning mass resignations - and may even include Trump’s Chief of staff: REID: “One official tells the team, quote, "The president's attention is all over the place. How many people are preparing briefs on what marble to pick for X project?" Now, that same official said morale is low, and that the glitz and the glam of the White House is wearing off. So not surprisingly, we're told people wanna leave.”

Holy shit, I didn't realize Scott Colom was denied a federal judgeship because Cindy Hyde-Smith blocked his nomination by lying about his connections to George Soros hahahahaha If she hadn't done that he'd be a district judge and instead he's going to beat her in a Senate race and become the first black Senator from Mississippi since 1870. Nobody has ever been owned this hard by poetic justice The mills of God grind slowly/yet grind exceeding small

If 2026 has been our 2006, what would it look like if 2028 were our 2008? My guess would be something like this.

These Trump resignations won’t save the individuals involved. Congress has the power to subpoena not only government officials, but also private citizens. They can’t run from what’s coming.

I see Rubio is talking about resigning to run for president. This is the man who stood by while Trump got us into this stupid war and who couldn’t negotiate to save his life. He thinks hiding out will help him. Bless his heart. Your stench will never wear off, Marco!
