Generally we run without coolant for filming purposes. 300psi of juicy juice makes for a bad shot. I know @titangilroy puts disclaimers on a lot of videos for running dry.

@phunkyfungi_nft do we know when the last few NFTs are going to be released? There’s still about 50 that have yet to be revealed
As a general rule, we would nom nom a simple hole. We’re running them in a stack; if you hit em too fast, the coating gets damaged. Nothin wrong with low and slow.

You should check out the Count Things app. It’s pretty handy. apps.apple.com/us/app/count-…

The thrust is independent of the conveyor, and obviously easily overcomes the friction of the wheels, So if the conveyor belt had infinite acceleration then theoretically it could keep it at bay- for a while. The wheels or the conveyor would give out long before the turbines.🤷♂️
@sharezone_io you wouldn’t remember, but about 20 yrs ago I watched a conversation between you and my dad in that shop I talked about, and that was the day I decided I needed to be in this industry. To learn to love to make starts as a child and has to be nurtured. That is all :)
... this is from a toolmaker and product dev who was raised in a shop by the most skilled yet humble toolmaker I’ve ever met, my father. We’ve gotta change the industry tone. The pride in this industry is in the progress we make, not the glory days we miss.
Mad respect to the guys that ran that route. Things are changing though, and the steadfast old timers addiction to tradition is putting a wall of pride and ego at the door to the industry and chasing away any who dare enter...
We’re preached at like if we didn’t spend 15 yrs as a knuckle bustin, Bridgeport whippin, hrs at the drafting table, high speed steel slinging, 80hr/wk beast. We’ll never have a chance in the arena...
A lot of us are opening our own shops because we’re tired of being called technicians, junior toolmakers, and toolmakers apprentice for 10 yrs because we haven’t been at it for 30. Good excuse to pay you 18/hr is what that sounds like to me.
We’re out here. I personally know of about a dozen in my area. Problem is we collectively have to deal with distrust and eye rolling from the 40+ folks in the engineering community. Being a young buck in American mfg isn’t for the thin skinned.

I was told to wait 3 weeks for my info to be reviewed before I’d receive anything. I didn’t get 3 weeks notice that I wouldn’t have customers. I didn’t get 3 weeks to plan how to pay my employees, and I sure as hell don’t get to interpret laws however I see fit. Get it together!
