We need to have laws against jurors giving interviews or writing books. Juries should remain anonymous.
The lone juror in the Lindsay Clancy trial repeatedly got irritated by how the mostly female jury would blabber over eachother, according to the Daily Mail.
The black juror grew irritated when everyone talked at once and preferred to speak with his wife and watch videos on his phone.
"He would get upset and say, 'Listen to what she's saying, listen to what he's saying, be respectful,'" juror Paula Devlin told the Daily Mail.
"... He would get upset and just take all this time lecturing us about not being respectful."
This guy sounds awesome.
Replies not allowed? Can't imagine what she's afraid people might say.

The first 8 minutes of the national newscast I watched this evening was about the hunta virus. No mention of the shenanigans in TN.
Once you get past being distracted by looking at this beautiful human in that beautiful setting, you get to some wise and measured words. Can we all just learn how to disagree, have a conversation, and come to resolutions?
Any organization that receives government monies, should be banned from making political donations. ANY government monies.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The $35 million figure refers to government funding received by Minnesota daycares through the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), not political donations made by them to campaigns.

Our best and brightest? Our future leaders and lawmakers? Stanford Law and the other once elite institutions are a joke. Their confidence in their own views is so tenuous they can't even hear opposing positions. Weak.
NEW: Fifth Circuit appellate judge Kyle Duncan, who was shouted down by Stanford Law students yesterday, says the protesters behaved like "dogshit."
He is also calling on Stanford to fire the DEI dean who participated in the uproar.🧵

"The state is our child . . ." Yes!!

It can no more do that than it can magically create wealth or perfect safety. (Or deliver the mail efficiently, for that matter.) The state is our child—NOT our parent. It takes its lessons, sustenance, & discipline from US, not the other way round.
