Would you believe that the new Ryan Reynolds movie IF has a call back to a gag from Deadpool 2? You just wouldn't see it right away.
What if Rhodey had been a Skrull the whole entire time we’ve known him? Since Iron Man 1 or 2. The Rhodey we knew was the Skrull, and the guy they rescued at the end was essentially, for all intents and purposes, an entirely new person to us. (I’m sure I’m wrong, but… what If?)
If #Rhodey has indeed been a skrull since Captain America: Civil War, here's a list of important/fun moments that weren't really him:
That’s not how the exhibition industry works. First, plenty of people show up last minute to buy tickets. You can’t just cancel the scheduled movie an hour before cause not enough tickets have been sold in advance. Second, movie theaters can’t just screen whatever they want… 1/4
It’s MORE expensive and complicated to show old movies than current releases. They have to pay upfront costs for old movies, but split revenue for new ones. 1 person in DUNKIRK would cost them the entire rental fee, while it would just cost then half a movie ticket for FLASH. 3/4

I love this idea! I take it cos most films are digital when shown these days this would be easy to do? How would they get on with older films on a reel?
This isn’t a failure to innovate on the movie theater’s part. They would LOVE to do stuff like this. It’s the studios and rights holders that make it difficult. Let’s not even talk about how major distributors require oppressive screen exclusivity to even book their movies. 4/4
That’s interesting, cause the villain is the one thing I didn’t totally love about MI:7. BUT, as the movie is written now, idk how that character could’ve been anybody not the same age as Tom Cruise, since their history predates the events of MI:1, when Hoult woulda been <5.
He said “The question is, if you can control time, like in Back to the Future, would you change things?” That’s just a question, he’s not saying the time travel in IJ:DoD is like in BTTF. Cause it’s not, it’s almost unequivocally the opposite kind, in both concept and function.

So they went with maybe the weirdest choice possible. Disney castle is there, Paramount mountain is there, but it’s LucasFilm logo that transitions into the opening shot. Like, why? I get it if there was no Paramount logo, but it’s there! Why break the trend with the last movie!?
If there’s one thing you can predict about the Fast & Furious movies, is that you can never predict the titles. Incongruous titles have been one of its main legacies since #2. The next ones could be FAST 10 PART 2 then 12FAST 12FURIOUS (except it won’t cause I just predicted it).

I’m curious how Disney will handle the opening shot, which has traditionally transitioned from the Paramount logo to a mountain or similar shape. Will it fade into a castle, or zoom into the matterhorn in the background. Or will it be like Star Wars and start with the LFL logo?
The first clip from @mang0ld's 'INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY' has been released.
The final #IndianaJones film will premiere at #Cannes2023 on Friday.
This seems telling to me. My guess now is they made a deal with Paramount, who still has some stake in the film, and they’ll use the classic Paramount logo as part of the opening motif. (My other guess is no Paramount logo, but the movie still opens with a mountain as an homage.)

Well, looking closely at the new poster the paramount logo is on it. We could very well see the traditional opening with the logo. I haven’t heard anything official yet though. I’m sure we’ll know by Friday morning after it screens at the Festival de Cannes on Thursday.
“TheWrap has exclusively learned.” Nah, lots of people knew. I knew, and those I talked to about it knew. But we all decided to keep it a secret, cause why ruin a genuinely pleasant surprise? Smaller sites and accounts showed restraint, but TheWrap just couldn’t help themselves.
Exclusive: Surprise! Dwayne @therock Johnson has returned to the “Fast and Furious” franchise, appearing in the post-credits sequence for the upcoming #FastX thewrap.com/fast-x-dwayne-jo…
Yes, I feel the same way. If it has to happen, let it happen like this.
Ok I watched it. I slept on it. I woke up and still feel the same way.
I’m ready to have this conversation. After THAT performance? Naw we gotta re-up. #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3 #GotGVol3
Big year for movies starring Chris Pratt that feature characters wearing color coded uniforms floating in a void, who visit a world populated by humanoid animals that drive vehicles, including raccoons, monkeys and angry turtles, and use NO SLEEP TILL BROOKLYN in key scenes.
This scene, in context, shows how important the events of ENDGAME were to GOTG 3, and beneficial to Gunn. Peter’s entire arc hinges on the fact that he lost Gamora, and now there’s a ghost of her hanging around reminding him. GOTG 3 goes places it couldn’t have without ENDGAME.
The Flash movie will make a huge huge deal about Eric Stoltz in BTTF.

I feel like with all the Multiverse films I can’t believe no one’s ever done a joke were there watching back to the future but it the Eric Stotlz cut
