Dear #nonprofit leaders: Let's flip the switch on the overhead question. A donor just told me 20% is far too high and I just cannot anymore. Employees deserve a living wage. No exceptions. Let's normalize overhead costs.

I applied to a job & put my required salary as higher than what they listed. They replied: Please note that as an organization that strongly believes in equality for all, we have moved away from salary negotiation which disproportionately benefits people with privilege. 🤣
