Today, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to remember the families, first responders, service members, and communities forever changed by that day.
We remember the courage of those who ran toward danger, the compassion of strangers, and the strength shown in the days that followed. May we never forget the lives lost, the sacrifices made, or the importance of standing together with kindness, unity, and humanity.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Apple has apparently decided to play the renaming game too, changing Lake Ontario on its maps. That’s enough for me—I won’t be using @Apple Maps, and @Google Maps is out as well.
Meanwhile, @MapQuest has taken a stand against the political theater surrounding Donald Trump. They have not changed the name of Lake Ontario, and they also kept the Gulf of Mexico exactly as it is.
So, congratulations, MapQuest you’ve earned my support. Let’s go, MapQuest.
#LakeOntarioForever #GulfofMexico #NoKings
When @realDonaldTrump assumes power that is not rightfully his and repeatedly abuses that power, the consequences reach far beyond politics. His pattern of escalating conflict with other nations, seemingly driven by personal grievance and a fragile ego, puts American values, security, and democratic institutions at risk.
It is long past time to take a stand. Too many people remain silent or allow him to claim that he speaks on their behalf. He has never spoken for me, and he never will.
What we are witnessing is authoritarian behavior: an effort to substitute personal vanity and political spectacle for principle, accountability, and respect for democratic norms. Renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the “Gulf of America,” Lake Ontario as “Lake America,” or attempting to redefine established landmarks for political branding, is not leadership. It is childish, divisive, and profoundly unrepresentative of the American people.
These actions do not reflect the ideals on which this nation was founded in 1776—liberty, self-government, accountability, and the right to challenge those who abuse power. That is why resistance matters. It is why so many people are refusing to remain silent.
As Braveheart’s William Wallace declared: “They may take our lives, but they’ll never take our freedom.”
We will not be silenced. We will continue to speak the truth, demand accountability, and expose wrongdoing wherever it occurs.

Are we “Great” yet? Are we “winning” yet? Are we better off now than we were under any good damned other president?! I will wait while you all gather your fake facts to try to prove us wrong. America is not great, nor are we winning, and we sure as hell aren’t better than we were under any president before @realDonaldTrump. Donald Trump is the cancer that is killing this country, and he doesn’t care so long as he remains out of prison and profits off of this country and the people living here. @TheDemocrats @GOP #MAGA #TraitorTrump #Failing

Hey MAGA — are we “great again”? Are we healthier now? The numbers say no. We’re not close, and the trends are getting worse. You keep supporting @realDonaldTrump, but the reality is he’s failed the country: he acts for his buddies, cronies, and allies — not for the American people. Show me valid, verifiable numbers that prove he’s made America healthier. If you can’t, you’re following a cult — and that’s the problem. #MAHA #MAGA #FailedPolicies
Trump’s hair has its own spin — it changed the phrase “fake news” to “fake roots.” #trolltrump #MAGA

BREAKING: CNN just aired a devastating montage of all the times that Donald Trump accused others of using their public office to make money. Donald Trump's net worth has almost tripled since he took office. Everything he accuses others of is an open admission.
Mandating telematics in vehicles under the guise of “safety” crosses a serious line. It forces drivers to surrender personal data—location, driving habits, even behavioral patterns—just to access basic services like insurance or operate a vehicle. That’s not innovation, it’s normalization of constant surveillance. There are real ways to improve road safety without creating a system where corporations or governments can track people’s movements in real time. Privacy shouldn’t be the price of participation in everyday life. @GM @Ford

Trump abruptly walked out of a tense “Meet the Press” interview with Kristen Welker after being pressed for evidence on his California election fraud claims, calling her “crooked or stupid” before ending the exchange. The clash followed repeated, debunked allegations about mail-in voting. This is the leader of the free world, and this behavior reflects poorly on the United States. I find it unpresidential and comparable to a toddler throwing a tantrum because they didn’t get what they wanted. #Trump #MeetThePress #Politics #Election2026
This Memorial Day, we gather in solemn remembrance, honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage, commitment, and devotion to duty stand as a testament to the values we hold dear.
We reflect on the stories of heroism, the daily sacrifices, and the unwavering resolve that these individuals exhibited, often in the face of unimaginable adversity. Each fallen hero left behind a legacy—of love, honor, and hope—that continues to inspire us today.
As we observe a moment of silence, let us remember not only their service but also the families and communities that bear the weight of their loss. They endure the pain and heartache while embodying the spirit of resilience that our nation cherishes.
In the words of President Ronald Reagan, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.” Today, we pledge to uphold their legacy, to ensure that their sacrifices are never forgotten, and to strive for a world that reflects the values they fought to protect.
Let us honor them not just with words but through our actions—by fostering peace, supporting our veterans, and cherishing the freedoms they defended. May we carry their memories in our hearts, ensuring that their sacrifices shape a better future for generations to come.
As we stand united in remembrance, may we find strength in our collective commitment to honor the fallen and to live lives worthy of their sacrifice.
