Do you need to learn every feature
just to use a Bitcoin wallet?
For first-time users, the essentials should be easy to find.
For experienced users, everyday features should be right where they want them.
Bitcoin belongs to all of us.
But what it means to each of us may be different.
Thatโs why we wanted Coconut Wallet
to make room for the way you use Bitcoin.
Arrange the features you need like widgets,
right where they make sense to you.
Tomorrow, Coconut Walletโs home screen is changing.
What it looks like?
Thatโs up to you๐
Honored and excited to join builders from around the world making real contributions to Bitcoin infrastructure at @bitshala_org BOSS Summit Jaipur๐ฎ๐ณ
Weโll be introducing Coconut Wallet @Coconut_BTC and sharing our Bitcoin education work at @BtcCtrSeoul
Looking forward to sharing insights,
learning from each other,
and building new collaborations ๐
Bitshala BOSS Summit Jaipur is live ๐ด
First up, the drop: this year's BOSS Summit tee, designed by our very own @_paperpsych ๐
โCrafting for generations to come.โ
We chose these words because the work we do today should outlive us.
Bitcoin is built by people who care about what comes next. Every line of code, every contribution, every idea shared gives the next generation something to build on.
And that's what we want BOSS Summit to be all about. Learning from each other, building together, and leaving something behind for those who come after us.
A little reminder on a T-shirt of why we're here in the first place.
For the next 5 days, we'll be sharing updates from the sessions, along with presentation links, so you can follow along even if you're not here with us.
Hit the ๐ 'notify' icon on our profile so you don't miss a thing.
Onwards ๐

We owe you an apology.
On October 20, we detected unauthorized access to our official website. After verifying API activity with Shopify, we confirmed on October 23 that a third party obtained customer shipping information. You trusted us with those details, and we're sorry we didn't keep them safe.
Exposed: names, contact details, shipping addresses, and order details (items and prices).
Not exposed: payment card or bank details, recovery phrases, private keys, or wallet passwords.
We've blocked access, fixed the vulnerability, opened an investigation, and are emailing affected customers.
Scammers may pose as Keystone by phone, text, email, or mail, offering refunds, replacement devices, or "fixes" for your order or address. None of it is from us.
NEVER share your recovery phrase or private keys, and NEVER enter your recovery phrase into a device you didn't order. We will never ask for them. Don't click links in unexpected messages. Type keyst.one yourself.
A detailed report is coming soon.
Until then, trust only our official channels. If anything feels off, email support@keyst.one. We'd rather hear from you than have you take a chance.
Again, we're truly sorry to everyone affected.

โ ๏ธCoconut Walletโs default server runs on Fulcrum 2.1.4.
It is not affected by the reported Electrum server issue,
so you can continue using it with peace of mind๐ก๏ธ
With Fulcrum, standard wallet requests are 4โ6 times faster,
with speedups of up to 10 times for wallets with extensive transaction histories.
If you use Coconut Wallet with your own Electrum server, please make sure your server is up to date.
๐ฎ๐ณ Coconut is heading to India!
At Bitmela, a Bitcoin conference in India, our team member Maru (@coconut_maru) will be hosting a hands-on self-custody workshop for local attendees.
With just a smartphone, participants will create their own Bitcoin wallet using Coconut Wallet, receive and send real bitcoin, and even recover their wallet using their mnemonic words.
We hope this will be the first step into self-custody for many new Bitcoiners in India. ๐ฅฅ
Most lost Bitcoin isn't stolen, it's just never set up right.
In this hands-on workshop with @CoconutWallet, @coconut_maru walks you through real self-custody, start to finish. Bring your phone, leave knowing it's actually yours.

Bitcoin Wallet Basics, Part 3 of 3
Why use a watch-only wallet?
You can check your balance and transaction history without private keys. A watch-only wallet handles the viewing. When it is time to send bitcoin, a signer holding the keys approves the transaction.
Separating those roles lets you use a wallet while keeping the keys offline. These cards show how the pieces work together.
Share this with someone wondering how a cold wallet works without an internet connection.
Bitcoin Wallet Basics, Part 2 of 3
Do you need a separate device to hold your own bitcoin?
You can start with a hot wallet on your phone. A cold wallet keeps private keys offline. How you use them and what to watch out for are different, but both need a backup.
Already created a wallet? Back up your recovery phrase and keep it somewhere safe.
Share this with someone who has been putting off self-custody because a separate device felt like too much.
[Update] Coconut Wallet v0.20.0
This update supports Android 7.0 or later and iOS 15.0 or later
Please check your device's OS version before updating
Coconut Wallet v0.20.0
Learning version v3.20.0
Hot wallets are now available in Coconut Wallet
Create a wallet, receive bitcoin and send it, all from your phone
1. Hot wallet support
Sign and send transactions in the app without a separate signing device
Restore a wallet with recovery words (a mnemonic) or a Seed QR, with passphrase support
You can also send from a hot wallet to a watch-only wallet (Vault)
2. A more convenient wallet interface
The home screen clearly distinguishes hot wallets from watch-only wallets
Wallet details make it easier to check your balance, recent transactions and key features
Set a bitcoin savings goal for each wallet and track your progress with a completion rate and graph
We've improved the UTXO list, filters and sorting, and combined the merge and split screens
Other improvements and fixes
- Choose your preferred decimal and thousands separators
- Fixed transaction details not refreshing correctly when the recipient address changes after entering an amount
Update availability
Both the standard and learning apps on Android can now be updated
