Absolutely staggering...
“I take it Transport Scotland is a registered charity?”
10/10 to the civil servant gently explaining how government agencies work to a clueless Collette Stevenson MSP without even a wry smile.

Tonight I returned to a Council I once served as Deputy Leader — this time as a resident, presenting a deputation signed by 42 others to protect single-sex violence against women and girls provision. Haringey is now under a Green administration, led by Mark Blake. Afterwards, Council security, concerned for our safety, escorted me and two other women out through a back entrance and towards the bus stop to protect us from protesters outside screaming some claptrap about “TERFs” and “the state”.
In 1986, aged 10, I came to Haringey with my mum and sister, fleeing domestic violence. We were placed in hotels — the first notably in Holborn and St Pancras — where women and girls stood guard at bathroom doors to protect each other’s dignity.
Apparently that 10-year-old girl grew up to become a stooge of the state for fighting to protect services for the women and girls who came after her.
We came to speak. They came to intimidate.
It didn’t work.
Those responsible should be thoroughly ashamed.

#TUC Motion 17 commits 5.3 million union members to campaign for gender self-declaration, reversing a Supreme Court ruling on women's sex-based rights. Refuges. Changing rooms. Prisons. Women-only spaces. All at stake. Yet the motion never once uses the word "woman". Ask your union rep why.
Read Motion 17 as many times as you like. Count every line, every clause, every one of its two hundred-odd words. You will not find the word “woman” anywhere in it. Not once. Not “women,” not “sex,” not “female,” not “girls.” A motion built entirely around reversing the practical effect of a Supreme Court judgment about the meaning of sex under British equality law manages, across five resolutions and four sub-clauses of condemnation, never to mention the people that judgment was about.
That is not an oversight. It is the whole story.

Craig and Charlie Who?
Sturgeon acolytes in the SNP are trying to pretend Craig and Charlie Reid don't exist after the brothers - better known as The Proclaimers - proclaimed that trans activists are 'truth-phobes' over self-ID and men declaring they have magically become women
